A few months ago, we quietly updated our long sleeve raw hemp shirt, refining the collar shape and adding buttons at the cuffs.

The idea behind our permanent collection, rather than creating a new one every six months, is that it can evolve through small considered changes over time, remaining strong but fluid.

Hemp and wool are the base of our permanent collection.

Working with only two fibres isn’t limiting though. Different textures, different weights, and a wide range of natural colours give each fabric its own character.

In the selection, we choose them for how they feel and how they wear on the body over time, looking for a sense of balance and connection in the final palette.

On the path to finding the right balance between machinery and hands, we’ve found that there’s no need to use machines for certain steps.

Here are two examples that we repeat on all of our pieces.

The colours that come from nature repeat themselves around us.

We find rich browns in the soil that grows our food, in fallen leaves, in a sheep’s coat.

Maybe that’s why it feels so familiar. Something we recognise without thinking.

This old sock machine still runs by hand, one turn at a time, feeling every stitch as it forms, every small adjustment along the way.

You might not immediately think of wool for spring, but we see our pieces as seasonless.

Naturally breathable, wool is an easy, comfortable layer.

Our felted merino is compact but lightweight, working well through the shifting seasons and adapting to changing temperatures throughout the day.

Where each piece starts.

Before anything is cut, we spend time with the pattern. Adjusting, stepping back, trying again. Thinking about how it sits on the body, and on different bodies.

We work with three sizes, each one designed to cover multiple standard sizes, that’s why the fit stays loose, relaxed, and open to movement.
