Monday mood: covering everything in chocolate ganache and pretending I have my life together. 🍫✨

Just a little chocolate therapy, a smooth ganache drip, and Silent Flirt playing in the background… because Mondays deserve a little flirting too. 😉🎶

Oregon, you were SO much fun! 🌊🏔️🌲

Beaches that looked unreal, waterfalls around every corner, mountain views for days, hikes that made us question our life choices 😂, and of course… SO much good food! 🍴

A little exploring, a lot of eating, and plenty of “wait, stop the car—I need a picture!” moments. 📸✨

Already missing this adventure! 💚

✨ Instant Kalakand — soft, moist & absolutely delicious! ✨

A festive favorite made with just 2 main ingredients — paneer & sweetened condensed milk! 🤍 This super easy Kalakand is soft, creamy and perfect to make for Janmashtami. 🪈🦚

🤍 Ingredients

• 400g malai paneer
• ½ tsp ghee/clarified butter
• 400g sweetened condensed milk
• ½ tsp cardamom powder
• Pistachios, for garnishing (optional)
• Dried rose petals, for garnishing (optional)

👩🏻‍🍳 Steps

Break and crumble the paneer with your hands. Do not grate it.

Heat ghee in a kadai and add the paneer. Cook for a couple of minutes until the paneer becomes slightly soft. Do not overcook.

Add the sweetened condensed milk and mix well. Cook for 4–5 minutes, or until the paneer absorbs the condensed milk and the mixture becomes slightly thick. Do not overcook, or the Kalakand will turn hard.

Add cardamom powder and mix well. Transfer the mixture to a greased mould and spread evenly.

Garnish with chopped pistachios and dried rose petals.

Let it set in the refrigerator for 2hrs or overnight.

Cut into squares and enjoy! 🤍

Store refrigerated for up to 1 week or at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Wishing everyone a very Happy Janmashtami! 🪈🦚✨

The chicest things you can do lately: read a cookbook, make your coffee at home, eat local, host your friends, bake your own bread, and romanticize all of it. ☕️🥖🍷✨
slow mornings, full tables, good food, good people. kinda chic, if you ask me.
