Which look you’d wear? Styling my #memade lace pants - they are SO versatile! 💁🏻‍♀️ From edgy to romantic, these DIY pants bring so much texture and dimension to every look! 😍

✨ Look #1: Styled them with my DIY cheetah print blouse from this summer with some gorgeous beaded necklace that was gifted by friend. The woven handbag is made-to-order by @lovandbag

✨ Look #2: I switched it up with a delicate silky Ukrainian-print button-up I made last year for an evening like look. Absolutely love how lace looks with silky fabric! The floral earrings here are definitely the stars of the show custom made by @ekajewels_official

✨ Look #3: styled with a sporty twist with a two-piece top set, because why not? And yes, they even pair perfectly with my other fave artisanal accessories + dark blue suede shopper from @Mango.

My first project for the self-inflicted #SewFreshChallenge is DONE! 🙌 What was supposed to be an easy-peasy drawstring pant with no pockets or closures turned into quite the endeavor. 😅

First, none of the patterns I had were exactly what I wanted—slightly loose with a flared bottom and drawstring. 👖 I tried a few patterns, but they were either too fitted (needed closures) or way too loose, looking more like palazzo pants. 🤦‍♀️ So, I ended up modifying and creating my own—something in between.

Then came the oops moment. After checking the fabric content (just polyester, of course 🙃), I threw the lace in the washer and dryer... and surprise surprise—they shrunk! My ready-to-wear pants now looked like they belonged to my teenage sister. 😂

I considered adding ruffles (which would have been cute), but since I already have another ruffle project in mind, I removed the elastic and added an extra piece to the waistband instead. It worked perfectly! 🙌 Now the fit and length are just right, and I can finally photograph these beauties. Because if it ain’t on Instagram, it didn’t happen. 😉✨
