Sending LOVE to every being in the Multiverse.
Gentle reminder: the ugly truths being exposed seem to feed the collective sense of fear and paralysis, but my loves, it’s what we do next that’s in our power.

Liberation is within. And it’s contagious.

Tag, you’re IT!

Happy Blood Moon Earthlings. Release that which does not serve you. Or us. It’s time.

“Healing the Healers”
Thank you @ujimacommunity for welcoming me to this special event. Now is the time for me to double down on my community care. I am not helpless, and knowing that brings liberation which brings joy. ✨🤎🌍

“Passing Strange, which nabbed seven Tony nominations in 2008, doesn’t sound like other musicals. It marked a turn in the road for Broadway as it’s more a rock concert with a story to tell. Stew Stewart’s book, which won him the Tony, manages to be literate, reflective and, yes, even heartwarming in a show that lifts the roof. His wonderful score (with Heidi Rodewald) has shadings of rock, punk, funk and gospel with the odd witty pastiche, of everything from electronic to Kander & Ebb, thrown in.
…
It’s the story of a young black wannabe musician who sets out on an electrifying musical odyssey to find himself, swapping his middle-class LA upbringing for punk rock and protest in 1980s Amsterdam and Berlin. Director Liesl Tommy strips it down and stages it as a rock concert with an ace four piece band on a simple set, aided by Will Duke’s video designs.
…
Giles Terera, on his own a reason to see this, plays the narrator ‘Stew’ (think Pippin). He plays a mean guitar (and drums at one point) and his crystalline vocals are a perfect fit for these songs, which display his technical and emotional range. He bestrides the stage like a pop veteran.
…
Keenan Munn-Francis is great too as our wide eyed protagonist and Rachel Adedeji is commanding as his smothering, church going, mother. The other roles are tripled up by a slinky, sexy, quartet of actors: David Albury, Renée Lamb, Caleb Roberts and Nadia Violet Johnson who delight in bringing to life the motley collection of hippies and anarchists he encounters.”
