Take your boyfriend to work day was a success! So incredibly grateful for the entire crew, who came out to inspire the next generation of fire fighters at the Preschool at Southeast Tech! taken in Henderson, Nevada by @life_as_la

Year 11 is all about the future: this year I changed it up in every way possible. I received my endorsement in early childhood special education, and am now teaching Early Childhood Inclusion at SECTA High School. I now get to spend every day combining my passions for teaching young children and inspiring the next wave of educators. I work closely with our high school magnet students in the education and teacher training program to bring them into my classroom for hands on experience and training. My mom was a graduate of this very high school 40 years ago, and every day I bring a bit of VoTech pride with me through the door. Here’s to the roadrunners who will one day fly our nest and become the future. taken in Las Vegas, Nevada by @life_as_la

In 2025…
My heart cracked wide open in ways I never thought were possible. Many. Times.
And somehow, in the midst of it all, I was blessed by more abundance than I could’ve ever imagined. I never expected it, I just knew each time it found me, I couldn’t help but thank God. Life was better on the other side of every door. Gratitude in grief. Humbling.
I can’t wait to move into 2026 with the blessings life has given me this year, carrying still the lessons it taught me, and leaving behind the things which no longer serve me. taken in Las Vegas, Nevada by @life_as_la

11 out of 12 went by too quickly, but I suppose that’s what happens when you’re busy enjoying life! Looking forward to this last month of 2025, and all the magical moments it brings! 🤍 taken in Las Vegas, Nevada by @life_as_la

Sometimes she puts on a show ➡️ sometimes she looks like a busted Chipotle burrito. There’s really nothing in between.

3:30am- Wake up
4:00am- Out the door
4:40am- Bus to the start
5:00am- Question life choices on the sidewalk while wrapped up like a Chipotle burrito 🌯
6:25am- Prepare, pray, Isaiah 40:31 🦅
6:30am- Race postponed, try not to stress about losing energy, feelings of fatigue, or stomach growls
7:10am- Start. First two miles were THE WORST 🌬️
8:10am- Realizing it all paid off and in exactly an hour, the finish line had been crossed 💯

I’m grateful to the team that got me here, my friends and coach at Red Rock Running Company, and my chiropractor at Canyon Lake. I’m grateful to my friends and family who encouraged me to go for time, and challenge myself in a new way. Because of this, I’m a better runner. In a year that has been filled with mountains to climb, I’m grateful to have the air in my lungs and still be climbing. taken in Las Vegas, Nevada by @life_as_la
