POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Life update. I have not been active since like March. Mainly because the military had given me no time to get pictures or even just sit down and make a post. A lot has happened in the past few months. One thing being something I still don't really have the words to share, but I'm going to try. First off, pregnancy is going ok. Baby is healthy but pregnancy itself is so exhausting 😭😅. We did find out we are having a girl! My husband is excited to be a girl dad but has also expressed he is a little nervous because girls will be girls lol but either way we are excited to meet our little girl, Everlee, in September.

Now for the sad news. Dobby was introduced back in February on here. Our plans with her were to put her in sports and bite work. She had the potential and the drive. Back in April. She was attacked by our neighbors dog and did not have the strength to survive recovery. This was an unexpected situation that took her away from us at such a young age. But we will forever love her and miss her

Now for some more news of change. Ajax was washed from service work. He was starting to show signs of not being interested in that line of work and was missing alerts. With that being said, he will still have a job. He has now started showing interest in bitesports so me and my husband and I have discussed potential protection work training for him. If not that, then he will go into just bitesports. I still love him even if he was washed from service work, but he does have potential for what he was bred to do, which was to be a protector, and he really seems to enjoy it. I'll try to get so updated photos of him because omg he is growing up to be a beautiful dog.

As far as ziva, she's doing great!

This was all the updates I have as far as now. I'm hoping to get back to posting on here. But either way, I hope all of you are doing well! by @lifealongsidedogs

Here's the official introduction of Dobby!
Dobby is an 8 almost 9 week old APBT mix, or at least that's what we think her mom is. Her mom has a lot of the pitbull features, but she was a rescue off the streets, so we're not 100%. My family friends rescued Dobby's mom in a field where she had been surviving for almost a year before that caught her. Now she is living happily with my friends. I found out about her having puppies in December, and we got to pick Dobby out and watched her grow! Now she's living life with us, and her and Ajax have become the best of friends. Ziva is just her grumpy old self 🤣

I plan to possibly do protection work or bite sports with Dobby as she's got a really good drive for it as of right now, but we will see as she of course a young puppy and is a Mutt lol but as time goes in we will see if she enjoys it!

I have been waiting a while to make this post! SURPRISE!

There's actually 2 surprises in this. #1. Meet dobby, she's the puppy up on the top and I'll make her introduction post in a separate post but that's one surprise. The other surprise is....me and my husband are expecting out first child! We are super excited for this journey with our dogs as well. This baby will be well protected 🥰

Take me back to Iowa 😭
So we just got back from our long trip with visiting with my husband’s family. Had a blast like always! But what's more exciting is knowing that within a year, we will be moving to Iowa to build our life and family. I can't wait for this moment to come! The dogs absolutely loved the snow and the enjoyment of being a part of the journey/trip.

We also have another surprise coming soon! I'll be announcing within the next couple of weeks or maybe soon 🤭

In a few days we are going up to Iowa for vacation during the holidays. What I'm excited for it this will be Ajax's first time in the snow!! Ziva absolutely loves playing in snow but I'm not sure how Ajax will react so I'm excited to see what he does. It is also his first long road trip! Super excited for it all 🥰

This Veterans Day, I want to take a moment to honor not only the brave men and women who serve our country, but also the ones who stand beside them, the spouses.

They may not wear the uniform, but they serve in their own way. They hold down the home front, carry the weight of distance, and keep life steady through every deployment, move, and moment of uncertainty.

To every veteran, thank you for your courage.
To every spouse, thank you for your strength.

Different roles, same mission. Both serve. Both matter. 🇺🇲 happy veterans to my husband and I as well ❤️

I think it's time to introduce Ajax officially! Ajax is a 3 almost 4 month old Belgian Malinois. He has since grown from the picture but still has some growing to do to fit into his @coastalcollars_ collar lol.

He will be trained in service work and sports. He is doing great with training, and I look forward to seeing his growth!
