The journey of turning our new house into our forever home. 🏡🤍✨

Here she is - The Snug.
This was a labour of love. There was no we when it came to this room, just an I. Sam worked late into the night to get this room to what we wanted. I'm talking insulating, boarding, rewiring, painting and building. There honestly is nothing this man can't do.
We wanted an old gentleman's club vibe, no TV, just music and nice wine (and a fire!) And we have delivered.

Happy Christmas 🎄🥂🤍 by @lifeatalpine

Welcome to life at Alpine Cottage! We viewed this place back in September and fell in love. This 1880 property was everything we wanted. It holds character, history and has beautiful surroundings. We picked up the keys on 11th Feb and now we start a journey as a family of four in this idyllic cottage. It was too good not to share and we cannot wait to show people what we plan to do with the place. But for now, we are busy unpacking and settling in and letting our 8 month old baby girl explore her forever home. Soon we will have our gorgeous dog Ted with us (once we get a fence!) and then the fun can begin. Here are the original photos of the place which made us make the move to view it and then, offer. It’s taken 5 long months but we are in! What a place 🏡🤍🥰 #homeaccount #foreverhome #renovation #homedecor #countrylife by @lifeatalpine
