Thank you to everyone who participated in @empoweringher ‘s Luminaria and bought a luminary in honor of a loved one, and to those who attended our event last night! It was such a magical evening and I’m honored to have been a part of it all.

Mother’s Day is one week away! For those of us who lost our moms at a young age this is a hard day and often stirs up feelings of loneliness and indescribable sadness. I am so grateful to have met the team of brilliant and strong women at @empoweringher who have helped make me feel so much less isolated in these feelings, even in my thirties. I can only imagine the impact this community must make for young girls who are overwhelmed while trying to fit in and grow up “normally”. As Mother’s Day approaches, I ask you all to consider joining us however you can!
