💙🖤✨️ APPRECIATION POST✨️ 🖤💙

This page may be about books, but the people you meet along the way are what it makes it so amazing!

This was gifted to me by a little book fairy from this amazing community 🧚‍♀️

Thank you @livbythechapter for making my Friday extra special and adding to .e ever growing TBR physical pile 👀

Cannot wait to dive head first into this one 💀🖤

Apparently writing a novel isn't enough to keep my brain busy. 😂

Sometimes I need to step away from the fictional chaos, forget about plot holes and give my brain something else to focus on.

Enter… a 1,000-piece puzzle. 🧩

Now it's your turn!

When life gets a little too lifey, what's your favourite way to switch off?

Tell me in EMOJIS ONLY! 👇

I'll go first… 📚✍️🧩🎾🏋‍♀️

📚🖤 Love Your Bookshop Day made me do it 🖤📚

A little dark fantasy haul, because apparently my TBR wasn't intimidating enough already!

Morally grey characters, dangerous worlds and a little darkness? I am so here for it 💀🔥

And can we take a moment for these skeleton lovers?! I have had these on my shelf for 15 years 🫶

Supporting a local bookshop on 'love your bookshop day' was a given @tobereadbookshop

Have you read any of these? Which one should I start with?

School holidays are officially over! 🙌

Back to the school runs, after-school activities and finding little pockets of reading time wherever I can.

Anyone else secretly love the reading time that comes with waiting for kids' sports to finish? 👀

✨️POV: Sometimes it's the smallest moments in life that remind us how lucky we are! ✨️

A good book, a glass of wine, and a sunset that makes you stop and appreciate it all. 🧡

It's easy to get caught up in the daily grind and chasing the next thing, but sometimes everything you need is already right in front of you. ✨

📚 ONE WORD TITLE CHALLENGE 📚

Thanks @chelleys.library for the tag! I though i would fail at this... but I actually had more than I expected 😅

I could have included a few old uni textbooks - but the Economics title didn't fit the aesthetic 😆

You up for the challenge? What one word books do you have on your shelf?

🏈 Worth the Scandal | E L MORAN 🏈

Rugby League and some sexy off the field tension 🙌 say no more!!

This sports romance has you heavily invested in these two characters from the first chapter!

The tension, the banter, and a few secrets along the way, made this for such an entertaining, easy read!

Couldn't put it down!

The second book in the series is also out - Worth the Lies (i have already ordered 🙌)

@elmoranauthor keep them coming 🫶🙌🏈👀

Apparently the answer is... everything is hard 😂

Finishing the book is hard
DNFing it is hard
Going to the gym is hard
Ignoring the comments is hard
Change is hard

Sometimes you just have to decide which hard is worth it.

Choose your hard 🤍

🫂 THIS IS WHERE IT ENDS | MARIEKE NIJKAMP 🫂

The title of this book jumped out at me at a preloved bookstore and it did not disappoint!

⚠️ Triggering topic - High School Shooting

▫️10:00am The principle finishes her starts of semester speech.

▫️10:02am The students get up to leave the Auditorium.

▫️10:03am The Auditorium doors won't open.

▫️10:05am Someone starts shooting.

This story is told from four different perspectives over 54 harrowing minutes.

This book was beautifully written and really thought provoking.

I love a book that leaves you questioning your own perspective on life.

Thank you @mariekeyn for writing this incredible book!
