Not an addiction. Just a very healthy, very frequent hobby that brings me joy. 🎾

Took up tennis for real at 40. 🎾

I’ve been bad at it. I’ve come back from setbacks. I’ve walked into leagues where I knew nobody. And somewhere along the way I found my people, and my kid fell in love with the game too.

If you’ve been waiting to feel “ready” to start something new, this is your sign. You don’t have to be good. You just have to show up.

What’s the thing you keep saying it’s too late for? 👇

I’m a rational adult. Except on the tennis court. What’s your tennis superstition ? 👇🎾

I mean… as the psychiatrist who’s also addicted to tennis, this seems like a perfectly reasonable response to stress. 😉🎾
