The shell that made it across oceans 💫

I remember my mum facetiming me from somewhere beautiful & humid, holding this shell in her hand. She asked before leaving for overseas travel, if there was anything special she could bring home for me.

I asked for a pearlised nautilus shell.

How she stumbled upon a shell store with the nautilus of my dreams & then safely transported it back home to me is all magic! She truly is THE most amazing mum 🫶🏼

Originally, I dreamed of having it as a centrepiece at our wedding, until my very lovely (& genius) florist @el_botanical suggested styling florals in it💡✨ Loved it, onboard. Then I questioned whether I could use it as a vessel for my bouquet. This treasure needed her moment ~ with me, down the aisle & all the way to my seat. Elly, you’re made of stardust, my girl! Thank you for creating the bouquet of my boujee mermaid dreams 🥂🐚🏹

Did you know custom postage stamps are a thing?!

I discovered MyStamps from @auspost while wedding planning last year & immediately knew our invitation suite wouldn’t be complete without them! 💌

They were simple to create & order online, even for a not-so-tech-savvy girl like me. We were so happy with how they turned out & now I can’t wait to create more for upcoming events & at Christmas time! by @lifebeyondthebump

To date, one of the best things I have ever done was to breastfeed my little loves. If you would have told younger me that there was a way to continue nourishing my bebe long after weaning with my own breastmilk, I think my eyes would’ve popped out of my head!

@nourishy.com.au has been such a godsend through unexpected sicknesses, travel & to comfort my bebe following weaning. Make a berry breastmilk boomie in a @rommerdesign smoothie cup & we’re onto a winner 🍓🏹 by @lifebeyondthebump
