Honolulu Marathon finished. 🏁
26.2 miles- 5:43 time. 🏃 🏅

The journey to it is something to be proud of and thankful for. The training days the injuries the delays the sicknesses. Rain or shine. Trained for it, showed up and completed the @honolulumarathon

From nothing to starting. Day one to day 147.

I trained for 147 days and completed the marathon. Stoked. I believed in myself and knew it was possible. It wasn’t easy. It’s a choice you make every single day if u want to move yourself closer to your goals.

I posted at @jkai.fitness from start to finish of my progress. Showing you the raw truth of what it took me to complete it.

Starting at 213lbs and running into injuries and delays and desserts. I was able to hold myself accountable, show up and become a better healthier person for myself. Finished the race at a weight of 187lbs.

Day 147 of 147 that’s a wrap!

This isn’t the end either. It’s a stepping stone to a strong foundation of life I am building for myself.

Stay tuned as in August 2026 I am tackling the @spartan trifecta race all in one weekend. New challenges and training which will require a different level of skill, strength and mindset.

Thank you @honolulumarathon for the opportunity and everyone who made it happen! Blessings to the ones who couldn’t finish it, who got injuries and to all that had finished!

Leavenworth Marathon 2026 🏔️🏃‍♂️

I ALMOST LET MYSELF CHILL FOR THE DAY INSTEAD.

What a way to finish these last few weeks.

Seattle Spartan Trifecta ➝ Leavenworth Marathon.

26.2 miles through one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever run. I came into this about to give up on the day. 4am I’m on the couch, tired, beat up, and definitely not feeling 100% I didn’t want to go and do it as I had so much on my plate lately. I got up, dressed headed out.

Once that starting gun went off, there was only one way forward.

I gave it everything I had.

There’s something about crossing a marathon finish line that’s hard to put into words. Months of training, good runs, terrible runs, early mornings, sore legs and plenty of moments questioning why I signed up for this in the first place 😂

But that’s what makes the finish worth it.

Another marathon in the books. Another reminder that I’m capable of a lot more than I sometimes think.

Grateful for the experience, grateful for everyone who supported me along the way, and grateful to God for another opportunity to do something like this. 🙏🏽

Wait for it… WATERFALLS off the H3 in Hawaii.

My commute to work 6 days a week for the last 8 years on this road.

Today was one of the best days as the clouds held up just above. Giving a breathtaking view of all the waterfalls.

Notice- Stairway to Heaven hike at the very beginning with a small waterfall next to it. Magical moments on the island. Blessed. Have a great weekend🤙🏽 by @lifebeyondthewaves
