Ok sorry to repost, this is much better photo imo! Very long substack out now, my surrealist horror essayistic poetic intensity abt leaving the sex industry posted on the day my new job at whole foods starts. I often post these things when I’m exhausted already from them and it, but my plan is to do lots of short form videos experimenting with reading a lot of the writing out loud. I also definitely do want to do IRL readings. I know the thing is really really long and I should probably repost the essay as much shorter segments and maybe I will on Substack as well. I just had to get this all out. I’ve been endlessly editing it for so long.

A really big weight has been lifted off of my shoulders and starting this new job even though it is definitely exhausting already and I’m sure it will get even more tiring but writing about it gives me hope. I’m a writer plz book me for readings. I’m sure the fuck the videos that I’ll post of me reading will inspire you because people like it when I read and they like my writing so… by @lifedrive____

My fashion and aesthetic and personhood going through a molting over the past yearish along with my personhood, maybe it’s the process of intensive meditative cleaning of shed dog hair from my beautiful son daily that primes my mind to also clean up what I have shed from my other beauty children in the process of creation of self and outside of self. It’s also probably Lexapro, mini press- my night terror medication, and refusing to suffering fools gladly (I was never glad with the suffering of fools tbh, I made it hell for them 😉) as the primary fix for my own true suffering. Also being almost 100% alcohol free for almost 2 years! The times I drank were 1 when I was deep inside 2 different hellscapes 1 a covertly masculinist noise show and the other Feb 2026 aka the deep reveal of the Epstein files which then deeply revealed my own experiences a similar. It’s funny the quote “a man in a room with 100 men thinks he is in heaven while a woman in a room with 100 men thinks she is in hell” is so true. I’ve experienced it first hand.

Anyways I’m still doing room interviews please let me know if you know any sane chill individuals who need a place to live short to potentially long term :) by @lifedrive____

Studio shots of one of my dolls/puppets currently on view in Vessel at Artists & Fleas as part of my installation which is on view this weekend! I will also be gallery sitting around 1-5 on Saturday so come say hi!

This doll has always brought a lot to me in terms of both sadness and hopefulness. The dolls I make often want their stories revealed, even to me, over time.

In the practice of giving dolls and puppets space to speak or reveal themselves to me in their own time, rather than pressuring them to perform a role right away, a specific persona or “part” comes forth from my own subconscious and somatic creative art practices. I listen and wait to understand what they mean, and thus allow my own self to exist without pressure.

Sometimes who the puppets and dolls are is rather immediate. It might be strangely obvious, but the larger the doll or puppet, the more apparent the part or mythic being. The smaller they are, the more mysterious and etheric the fragment.

I do know that she is somewhat of a mystery to me, and that is intentional. She smiles in an endearing yet eerie way. She is clearly happy, but about what?

I know her body has a prayer on it, along with the burnt remains of a candle and a pearlescent cross notion made for decorating objects for First Communions. I made her during a time when I was praying deeply and devotionally to God and Christ to release me from certain types of hells that I have, in actuality, since been released from.

She is always sitting atop a hill next to a leafless tree in my mind, praying and knowing that prayers will be answered despite the lack of life around her, in the cold. Her pipe cleaner arms spiral around the things she grasps, like a sloth.

In the installation, she is but one of the central Mother Goddess figure’s children. She is watched over by her and surrounded by siblings of a similar size, but with very different stories and identities. They are on a carriage ride, which itself has its own place as a vignette within the larger narrative of the installation. by @lifedrive____

Had such an amazing time at the vessel opening the other night and so proud of everyone! My friend #savannahlevin ft in this life changing Polaroid will be having her open show opening on Wednesday at @harkawik that everyone should come to ft her amazing work.

Through all the ups and downs of life I am grateful for my friends and community and all the artists I love and respect so much. It truly makes life worth living.
Will have lots of new merch including a whole concept glossary zine and some other zines up for sale soon as well.

Excited to gallery sit this entire month and hopefully have some fun and cool and amazing events to be posted about soon. by @lifedrive____
