We met along the way, shared good food, swam in the sea, spent a beautiful night, and made memories without even planning to.

And just like that, it was time to go our separate ways. He took one road, I took another.

That’s the beauty of travelling solo. You start alone, meet people who are walking a similar path, share a little part of life together, and then continue your own journey.

Five beautiful days in Marari Beach, Alleppey, with my friend from Austria. 🌴🌅 Staying in a beach villa, watching one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen, enjoying the present moment, relaxing, and trying lots of Kerala and Western food. Travelling through Kerala with my Austrian friend on our XPulse 210s. We attended a Catholic wedding, enjoyed some good food, and I got to see him eat with his hands like a pro after teasing him about it last year. Now we’re heading to another peaceful place. I’ll show you that in the next video.

Munnar was mostly rain, cold weather, hot food, and endless tea. We didn’t really have a plan, just riding around, stopping whenever we felt like eating or having tea.

At one point the rain got too much, so we bought a raincoat and kept going.

12 teas for Alex, 9 for me. 😂 Just one of those simple days that becomes a good memory.

A few days around Kochi with my Austrian friend. 🇮🇳🇦🇹

We visited old churches, watched Theyyam, Kathakali and Kalaripayattu, took a short trip to Cherai Beach, tried some street food, and walked through European era buildings that have been standing here since 1503.

One full day around Kochi with my Austrian friend. 🇮🇳🇦🇹

Started the day with local food, spent some time at Cherai Beach, walked through the old European buildings, took the boat chetty back through, checked into the hotel, watched Kathakali and Theyyam, and finished the day with dinner.
A full day of trying new things, walking around without rushing, and seeing a different side of Kerala together.

Finally got my first bike. 🏍️

After travelling around for so long using buses, trains and random rides, having my own bike to go around feels really good. And getting to take it for the first ride with my Austrian friend makes it even better.
