It made me think about these things after reading Manto's short story "Pehchaan" by @lifeoflucas21

Main phir subah hone ka intezaar karunga,
Main phir gulaab ke phool tod kar laaunga,
Main phir tumhare aane ka intezaar karunga.
Main phir tumhare baalon mein haath pherunga,
Tum phir mere kandhe par apna sar rakhna,
Main phir tumhe apna sab kuch bataunga,
Tum phir meri khamoshi ko samajh lena.
Main phir subah hone ka intezaar karunga,
Main phir gulaab ke phool tod kar laaunga,
Aur main phir tumhare aane ka intezaar karunga.

Tum chli aana apni bikhri zulfon mei
Hum apne haathon se unhe sanwaar denge
Hum tumko hi dekhenge
Hazaron ki bheed mei hum tumko hi dekhenge
Tu toh meri ankhon mei pehle se hi sajdi baithi hai
Tujhe na zarurat kuch karne ki
Tum chle aana yuhi apni ada mei
Hum tumko hi dekhenge
Hum tumko hi dekhenge

"Next time is next time. Now is now."

Wim Wenders’ Perfect Days is the ultimate cinematic detox. In a world telling us we always need to achieve more, buy more, and be more, Hirayama shows us the absolute luxury of simply being present.
He doesn't have a fancy job or high tech, but he possesses something most billionaires lack: peace of mind. Knowing that he likely walked away from a life of wealth to choose this simple, dignified routine makes his daily joy even more profound.
If you are feeling overwhelmed by the hustle, do yourself a huge favor and watch this film. It’s an absolute tight hug for the soul.
