A little belated, but we celebrated Jedidiah’s first birthday a few weeks back. 🥹❤️ And somehow we also made it through our first year as parents of two!!

My 2nd birth at Thomson Medical Centre!! 🥹

This time, it was a planned C-sect, and here’s a timeline of my experience!

We wanted to check in at 12am so we could get a good rest before getting ready for surgery at 8am. But… we only managed to check into our ward at 3am because the front desk was understaffed that day.

With a C-section, everything was chop chop, fast fast, and before we knew it, baby was out!

A day out in JB with my bestie! 🇲🇾🤍

This was actually only our second time going to JB together (the first one 8-9 years ago)!
 And honestly, I was SO excited because this time, I drove her in. I feel like this officially marks the peak of our adulthood — two best friends casually driving into JB for a day out. 🫶🏻

First stop at @nimmies.pastrycafe

We started our day at NIMMIES, where my bestie treated me to lunch! The food was really good. It was slightly on the pricey side, but I thought the food and overall vibe were great. 

One thing I liked about Nimmies was that it’s relatively near KSL, so it’s pretty convenient if you’re looking for somewhere to eat without venturing too far from the border.

Then we went to the highly, highly, highly popular @tangretreat Reserve for a massage.
 But I’m just going to say it, it was overpriced, and I really didn’t enjoy my massage.
 Definitely overhyped by the influencers on TikTok!

I’ve always believed that massages are very heng suay one la — it really depends on the masseuse you get. Unfortunately, mine that day just wasn’t very good. I didn’t feel like I was getting the lymphatic massage I was expecting at all, and i was so glad when it finally ended!
 BUT my bestie enjoyed hers, so at least one of us had a good experience!

And then came the highlight of the day — @rowanandbetty, which my bestie suggested.

It’s not on the ground floor — I think it’s on Level 1 or 2 — and before going, I remember telling my friend, “Who would even go to a cafe on a higher floor when there are so many places to eat on the ground floor?”
 Well… ME. Apparently. 😂
 Rowan & Betty was easily my FAVOURITE place of the day.

The scrambled egg was so good!! 10/10

The interior had this beautiful mid-century modern vibe, and I LOVED it. It was so picturesque that literally every corner felt like a photo opportunity.
 In fact, if I could, I would totally want to do bring my couple here for a pre-wedding shoot. The interior design really slaps. 😂👏🏻

Saying goodbye to Ang Mo Kio Library. 😭 @nlbsingapore
A place where I studied, dreamed, hid away… and unknowingly grew up! I didn’t expect an old library to make me cry. Goodbye and thanks for the memories!!

Here’s my 10-week update! Thanks for keeping up with my IG Stories and cheering me on haha. 🥹

I still have 3–4 PT sessions left, but honestly, I’m not sure if I’ll hit 59kg by then. I’m trying my best, but definitely not my hardest (not full on about diet). 😂

We shall see!

A day trip to JB with my uni friends!! 🥰

Our first stop was Plates & Bagels near KSL, followed by a massage nearby, and our last stop was AEON Mall Tebrau City!

I had so much fun catching up and bonding with my friends. Wish we could’ve done more, but I had to head home to my two young kids! ❤️✨🚗

Shooting a wedding for 10 hours and this is how I pump 🤱📸

I’ve been using the Imani i2 Plus Pro for 5 months now, and here’s my honest review:

✨ Pros
• Super convenient
• Only 2 parts to assemble and wash
• Wearable! I can walk around, work, and do other things while pumping
• On days when I’m completely exhausted, I literally wear it and lie sideways on my bed while pumping 😅

Cons
• Each pumping cycle only runs for 20 minutes, so you’ll need to restart it if you pump longer
• Can’t find compatible third-party cups, and the original replacement cups are quite pricey

Overall, it’s still one of my favourite pumps for busy work days and long wedding shoots because of how fuss-free it is 🤍

They truly grow up so fast 😭 The last month, Didi has been waking up 2x every night and it’s been SO tiring. But he’s also had some major developmental leaps — sitting up from tummy time, pulling himself up to stand, and now he’s walking SIDEWAYS?!? 🥹 Where did my baby go? 🥲💕

He’s about 39 weeks old now, which means he’s officially been out in the world longer than he was in my tummy.

The toughest part for me isn’t taking photos! It is sitting down to edit! Because of my ADHD, jump-starting the editing process is always the hardest hurdle. Deep work with me to edit a pre-wedding shoot 📸✨
