🗓 Many years ago today, Little Me would have been doodling all over the massive September page of my Dad's desk calendar.
Do we think this may have predisposed me to becoming exceptional with time management, planning, and prioritization? Who knows, but welcome to my favorite month of the year! 🎃 🦂 by @lifereorganized

Last video of the summer in our first series of videos on how decluttering and reorganizing correctly can save you so much time when moving!

Today, we talk about preparing for closing. When you have a closing date on the horizon you need this advice!

Listen to video 6 in our series of “Life Reorganized”, where I talk with Katheryn Keller about this very subject.

📦 It's Tuesday Shoesday and this stunner of a client is all moved in with room to spare!
Pro tip: Nesting ♋️ your shoes gives you a bit more space and makes them a tad easier to identify in your closet. taken in Lenox Hill by @lifereorganized

😢 I had to release my second beautiful organizing butterfly out into the world yesterday, and I'm having all the feels. I'm sad, proud, grateful, thrilled, nostalgic, pensive, and tender... all folded into the very impermanence of life itself. What a privileged twinge of elevation to witness grad school and California dreams take flight. 🦋🥰🦋 taken in NYC by @lifereorganized

📦 It generally costs about the same for us to unpack + organize your home after a move, as it does for us to reorganize what you've unpacked + attempted to DIY. And we guarantee it to be faster!

🥺 Some of my favorite work is with clients who've lost sight of what's possible in their home and, in tandem, their personal life.
Working with them to physically change their space while teaching them the how + why of systems, dropping brain + behavior science nuggets along the way, and watching it all click becomes a beautiful, reciprocal gift.
It was just grand to wake up to this message today! Shout out to @bjfogg who taught me how critical 🎉 celebration 🎉 is to making lasting change - his Tiny Habits are priceless. taken in New York City by @lifereorganized

😬 Curiosity keeping us on our toes while reorganizing another brownstone post-renovation.
I love when our team gets to create the systems that will keep a new home organized right from the start!
💡 Did you know that on average it costs less for us to unpack and organize your new home, than it does to reorganize a home you've already unpacked and attempted to organize yourself? Why would you save the time and frustration?! by @lifereorganized

🕰 Ensuring a smooth move: 1850's Ansonia Crystal Palace Mantel + 1950's Herschede Whittier Grandfather Floor clocks 🤯
I am just in awe of the incredible things that come my way on occasion! I'm also a little sad that artisan professionals who make, repair, and handle items like these are a rapidly dwindling breed of talent.⏳️ taken in Brooklyn Heights by @lifereorganized

Q: "Maybe there's a way you can keep toys hidden but accessible in this area and return, what we used to call, The Coffee Balcony to us?"
A: "1000%, yes!"
🧘‍♀️There is ALWAYS a way to maintain a Kid-Friendly + Adult-Sanity balance at home.

We pulled out all the stops recently to get a newly renovated 3-floor West Village townhome completely unpacked and organized in just 3 sessions... and I have a crush on its two glass-paneled kitchen cabinets that allowed us to showcase both a lovely coffee set and some beautiful glassware. They are the perfect bookends to the cabinetry concealing everything in between!

POV: You've gained time every day, even though we've lost an hour. ⏳️
In one session, you too could have only what you NEED or LOVE in your closet and it will function better every single day!
