A little girls’ day out, good food, pretty surroundings and some much-needed self-care 💕✨

We spent the day celebrating my friend’s baby shower, enjoying delicious food, and even squeezing in a little pedicure time 💅🏽

Plus, there’s a beautiful kids’ area, so the little ones can have fun too!

Definitely adding this spot to my list for the next girls’ lunch, birthday or celebration 🥰

A little stopover at Gariep Dam that surprised me 👀🌿
If you’re doing a road trip through the Free State, save this one!

We stayed at Gariep Inn, right near the dam, and it’s such a convenient little spot for an overnight stay or a few days away from the city. And the best part? It doesn’t have to break the bank either. 👏🏼

Thinking about becoming an online English teacher? 👩‍🏫💻🇿🇦

As a 🇿🇦 online teacher, I’ve learned that it’s not always as simple as “get a TEFL certificate and start teaching.” 😅

Depending on the school or platform, you may also need a degree, teaching experience, or other qualifications.

There’s finding the right platform, getting students, preparing lessons, understanding your students and figuring out what actually works for YOU.

So here are 4 tips I wish I knew when I started: 👇

✨ Find a teaching platform that works for you
✨ Don’t underestimate yourself as a South African teacher
✨ Don’t just teach — CONNECT with your students
✨ Know your student’s level, goals and needs

A fun family day out in Johannesburg, Gauteng! 🇿🇦✨

We visited Saringa Park and had such a fun time exploring everything this place has to offer for the kids! 🥰 From the different activities and play areas to all the fun things to see, it’s definitely a place to keep the little ones entertained.

And then… THE SHAWARMA! 🤤🔥
I had the biggest beef shawarma and honestly, it was SO good! Just look at the size of this thing! 😂🌯

If you’re in Johannesburg and looking for somewhere to take the kids while enjoying some delicious food, add Saringa Park to your list! ❤️
