🇦🇼Honestly this was one of the BEST BIRTHDAYS I’ve ever had 🎂

Aruba was just the perfect place for me to go this year. It was as if God knew I needed Aruba in my heart.

As I was riding the ATV, I told my husband straight up “if I ever wake up, book a flight and disappear… know that I’m in Aruba riding an ATV or eating some dumplings” 🥟

Omg did I also mention I went parasailing for the first time ? I LOVED EVERY SINGLE MOMENT OF THAT. (Lowkey I’ve always wanted to fly and know how birds feel in the sky…. Now I know THEY ARE FREEEE AFFF).

This place has my heart, through and through. ✨

📍🇻🇨 If you’re taking a trip to St. Vincent, here’s what you need to know:

1. You will have the time of your life
2. You will experience true beauty at its natural state
3. You’ll meet some amazing people that you would probably never engage with in your hometown
4. Your belly will always be full
5. You’ll learn that one person can own an ISLAND 😭 my mind is still trying to understand how one person can casually own an island
6. You’ll learn to be patient because everyone is running on island time.

🇮🇩As many of y’all know, I fell in love with Bali. 🤍

It reminded me to just BREATHE and be. Some places you visit, and some places rearrange you a little. Bali did that for me.

I came home softer, more present, and somehow more sure of what I wanted in life. More than anything, it reminded me that life is meant to be lived — fully, intentionally, and while you’re actually in the moment.

If Bali is on your list, this one’s for you — everything I loved, everywhere I ate, the beaches, the views, the vibes, and all the things I’d do again are in the slides.

💭Travel Diary, ✍🏾 Chapter 2

Traveling with my husband has taught me a lot about myself as someone who was used to traveling solo.

I still enjoy disappearing sometimes—not in a dramatic way, but in the way that lets me be in tune with nature.

Sometimes I want to sit and watch the water for the whole day. Other times, I want to walk an entire city.

I have learned to say when I am stepping away, for safety and consideration. Most importantly, I have learned that traveling with someone does not mean doing everything together or always compromising what you want to do.

Love can leave room for independence, too 💗

St. Barths vs. Anguilla 🌴

St. Barths (Barthélemy) definitely gives more French luxury. The food leans more French cuisine, it’s a beautiful island , and it feels more elevated, but I do think when you go matters because in the off season a lot of things are closed.

Anguilla 🇦🇮 is more laid-back and local feeling 🌊 . The beaches are amazing, the food is great, and overall it felt more affordable.

Choose the island based on your vibe🤍

💭 What I hope I never become numb to when traveling?

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always gravitated toward water. There’s something so beautiful and poetic about the depths of it.

I hope that I never become numb to the beauty of water. 🌊

I hope that I’m never too numb to the thump I hear when the water hits the rocks.

I hope that I’m never too numb to notice how the color of the water changes as the Earth rotates on its axis.

* You can also rent one of the dresses and they help you put it on perfectly to your body shape and size.

* Sunrise 🌅 Jeep tour $35.00 USD
* This tour comes with so much more than just seeing the sunrise. Included was the springs, coffee bean tour, view of volcanoes 🌋

* Monkey activity approx $5.00 USD
* They give you a little bag with bananas and veggies to feed the monkeys. And you go with a chaperone who keeps the bad monkeys away 😂 and he also takes amazing photos of you.

💭🌍“Are you truly living or are you just existing”? — this statement kept coming up in my mind as I found myself driving through the streets of Bali.

For the first time in a long time, I had this familiar feeling that I use to have.

I started to notice my breath again.
I started to notice my shoulders relax.
I started to notice my curiosity grow hungry again and this time it was feeling fulfilled.

I could go on and on about how full my heart feels but there are no words that can even describe this feeling.

I can only give gratitude to Bali, Indonesia for making me feel alive again.

Thank you for reminding me life is for the living.

Life is meant to be lived.

I will continue to ask myself if I’m truly living or just existing 🌱

And I hope you can do the same with me.
