POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I wanted to take you along as we brought Kuma home ❤️🐻

This was such a special day for us! 🥹 We had been looking forward to it all summer, and bringing Kuma home was definitely one of the highlights of our summer vacation ☀️

Kuma has already turned into such a chatty and incredibly playful little boy. He loves being petted, is always rubbing up against us while purring away 🥹

I also entered Kuma in his very first cat shows! 🏆 Both Kuma and Bamse will be attending the ISROK cat shows in October. We still have plenty of time to practice handling and getting comfortable being held. Hopefully Kuma will enjoy showing too, but if it turns out it’s not his thing, we definitely won’t force him.

I’ve been sharing our introduction process over on my stories. Bamse and Kuma have already accepted each other beautifully, while Kuma and Pöly are still getting to know each other. We’re taking things one small step at a time, as Pöly clearly needs plenty of time and space to adjust to such a big change 🥰

I hope you enjoyed this kind of video! ✨

🇫🇮: Halusin ottaa teidät mukaan hakemaan Kuman kotiin! ❤️🐻

Ilmoitin Kuman ensimmäisiin näyttelyihin 🏆 Näyttelyt on ISROKin syysnäyttelyt Leppävirralla lokakuussa.

🇺🇸: Kuma’s neutering day 🐻❤️

Today was a big day! This morning, we popped Kuma into his carrier and headed to the vet, where it was time for him to say goodbye to his manhood 🤭 Kuma was quite nervous at the clinic, but everything went well. We’ve been taking it easy at home for the rest of the day ❤️

Kuma also turned 6 months old today, and he already weighs 4.2 kg! Such a big boy 😮‍💨😂

Miten meidän näyttelyt meni? 🏆

Bamse earned his Premior title! 🥰 The judges had lots of lovely things to say about him, even though he wasn't nominated for Best in Show this time. Unfortunately, there weren’t enough cats in his color group for a Best in Variety selection this time either 🥲

Kuma’s first show went amazingly well! He earned his first certificate at the first show, but Best in Variety went to his lovely mom, Rosa. At the second show, Kuma won Best in Variety and to our surprise, was also nominated for Best in Show by the judge. What a boy! 😻 He didn’t win at the final panel, but both Kuma and his humans gained lots of valuable experience 🤩

Syksyiset pojat 🐱🍂

Ohoh, melkein kuukausi on vierähtänyt viimeisimmästä julkaisusta.

Miten teidän syksy on mennyt? 🍁 Ja löytyykö täältä muita jouluintoilijoita? 🤭

🇺🇸: Autumn boys 🐱🍂

Oops, it’s been almost a month since my last post! Working night shifts, the autumn season and the darker days have definitely been affecting my energy levels. But today, we had daylight well into the evening, so we decided to have a little photo session with the boys on the balcony 😻

You might have noticed in my stories that we went to a cat show with the boys over the weekend. The show went really well, and I’ll soon start editing a video of our show day. I’ll try to get it ready for you to watch as soon as possible! 🥰

Pöly’s Halloween birthday is getting closer, and I’m hoping to organize another fun little photo session for that too! 🥳🎃

I’ve also cautiously started thinking about Christmas already 😄 It’s definitely my favorite time of the year, and I’d love to create some Christmas-themed content for this account too, maybe even a little Christmas countdown! 🥰

How has your autumn been so far? 🍁 And are there any other Christmas enthusiasts here? 🤭

Lately, I’ve been thinking a little about the direction of this account 🤔

Personally, I get the most out of creating voice-over videos, especially when it comes to letting my creativity shine through the editing. I really hope you’ve been enjoying them too! 🥹

They do push the account a little more towards Finnish content, but I hope the English subtitles make them enjoyable for those of you who don’t speak Finnish as well ❤️ At the same time, these videos take quite a bit of time to make, and with work and everything else going on, I don’t always have the time to create them as often as I’d like 🥲

I also asked in my stories what you’d like to see more of, and some of the suggestions included a fur-care post and a post about our cats’ favorite toys. These are definitely on my list! I just need to find the time to make them 🤣

Coming up next month, I'm also hoping to make a vlog about one of our show days, as well as a little Halloween-themed birthday celebration for Pöly 🎃

But now I’d really love to hear from you. What kind of cat content do you enjoy watching the most? And have you been enjoying the voice-over videos? 🤩

If you have a moment to leave a comment, it would honestly mean a lot to me ❤️ I’d really love to know what you think! 👇🏻
.
.
🇫🇮: Oon viime aikoina pohdiskellut vähän tilin suuntaa 🤔

Itse saan eniten irti voice-over videoiden tekemisestä ja niiden editoinnista, jossa pääsen kunnolla olemaan luova. Toivottavasti tekin ootte tykänneet niistä! ☺️

Ja ootteko tykänneet meidän voice-over videoista? 🤩

❤️ by @lifewithdust

Brb, just bawling my eyes out 😭 Time really does fly by so fast! I can’t believe Bamse is turning 3 next spring. He was such a tiny boy not that long ago, and now I’m looking at these videos wondering how he grew up so fast 🥹

Having Kuma now has made me realize all over again just how quickly kittenhood goes by. I’m trying to soak up every little moment this time, because I know how easy it is to blink and suddenly your tiny kitten isn’t so tiny anymore 🥲❤️
.
.

Getting Kuma used to his harness has been so fun to watch! 🤭

While Pöly acted like she was born wearing a harness and Bamse had what I like to call a “harness shutdown”, Kuma is pretty active and restless when wearing his 🐱 But we can already see progress after every session, and the harness doesn’t immediately become his next chewing target anymore, yayyy 👏🏻

We’ve been practicing by keeping the harness on while playing and having treats, so he starts associating it with other fun things. Kuma is so easy to teach with treats and play, and especially getting to have a little play session together as a reward seems to be a huge hit with him 😻

Which would your cat choose: playtime together or treats? 😋
.
.
🇫🇮: Kuman valjaisiin totuttelua on ollut hauskaa seurata! 🤭

Kumman sun kissa valitsisi; yhteisen leikkihetken vai herkuttelun? 😋

Happy Caturday! ✨

I got this little chair for the cats, but Pöly has already claimed it as her kingdom 👑 The other cats aren’t quite as impressed yet.
.
.
🇫🇮: Ihanaa kissantaita! 😻

The final part of our catio project! 🛠️🐱

Here it finally is! Our balcony catio is finished, and honestly, I never would have guessed during the planning stage that it would turn out this nice 🥹

It has been so lovely seeing from your comments how many of you were inspired by this project! ❤️ The response to this series has been better than I ever could have imagined, and it honestly feels like it took our account to a whole new level 🤩

Documenting this project also inspired me to make more voice-over videos, and I learned so much about editing along the way. So this project gave me much more than just a finished catio 🥰

What do you think of the finished catio? ✨
.
.
🇫🇮: Kissatarhaprojektin viimeinen osa! 🛠️🐱
