I had to have a little conversation with myself recently.
For the past few weeks, I’ve been working on a passion project. 45 drawings, each with a handwritten message on the back, that I plan to give away to strangers before leaving Albania.

Something simple. Something from the heart. Just another way to give back.

But somewhere along the way, I realized I was nervous about actually giving them away.

What if people didn’t like them? What if they thought they were silly? What if something I poured my heart into wasn’t received the way I hoped?

And that’s when it hit me.

Sometimes the things we call procrastination or self-sabotage are really just the places where we’re still afraid to be seen.

I’ve spent so much of my life encouraging other people to believe in themselves, and here I was having to remind myself of that same lesson.

I’m learning that not everything I create needs to be perfect. Not everyone has to understand it. And not everything I give needs to be received the way I imagined.

Sometimes the beauty is simply in having the courage to put a piece of yourself into the world.

And that’s enough for me. 💜

33 of 45 done 💜 Almost finished with my cards for Vlorë and I’ve genuinely loved slowing down and creating again. My partner sat down and drew with me the other day too, something he hadn’t done since he was a kid. Just a sweet little moment that made me think both of our inner kids are probably smiling. Anyway… 12 more to go. 🥹🎨
