Sharing my mom life journey one laugh at a time

POSTS STORIES REELS

We laid our beautiful mom/mama to rest on 2/28/23. The week where Los Angeles experienced a large storm, but she let the sun shine in on her burial for just the right moment.
.
Thank you for everyone who poured love and support over my family.
.
Mom was the mom of moms, the “mama” so loving and caring, the woman who created a family that takes care of one another no matter what.
.
Grief is an unexplainable emotion. Because how do you explain emptiness? I know it will take time, but not sure if time will heal our broken hearts.
.
We love you Ma, always. 💕🕊️

Every year my dad would say “This is my last birthday here”, but it hits different when you want to celebrate and he’s no longer here.
Happy Heavenly Birthday Dad. We Miss You. by @lifewithnanners

Sometimes I feel like I’m living in limbo. Like I haven’t really processed my dad is no longer here. I don’t know if I’m in denial or life has me so busy it hasn’t given me time to process my dad is no longer here.
.
Reality hits when I don’t hear “hey girl” in the morning when he’s walking to the backyard patio while I’m rushing to get my kids out the door for school. Or hearing his door in the middle of the night for a snack or coffee. Maybe that’s why I’m posting this at 3am because this is when reality hits me.
Maybe I just still haven’t processed .

✅Plan a Night Market
✅Have an amazing night
✅Talk about the next one to plan
It was a great night for my kid and her school. Most vendors were sold out and probably still asleep from the busy night! We brought out cool people like @heavenlyflourbakeshop , @nataliahuangstudio @zerozeroluckystar @nanasweet_tooth and @velialuv to showcase their goods.
Till the next one ✌🏼 by @lifewithnanners
