My poor future husband is probably somewhere praying for a woman like me and praying I stay single until he finds me.

Little does he know, his prayers are working… but best
believe I trust God has something even better in store than I could imagine.

Thankful for every experience that taught me not to settle. God wouldn’t have allowed me to experience what I have if I wasn’t prepared for what’s next. I truly believe it was only a taste of what he has in store for me.

Don’t get it twisted don’t just get yourself a trainer. Get yourself a therapist too…

You can work on yourself externally all you want, but eventually you have to do the work internally too.

I’ll forever advocate for them both. And I’ll forever be grateful for my trainer. I might yap a little too much during our sessions 😂, but this became so much more than working out for me. @ghawktraining helped me rehabilitate my knee, rebuild my confidence, trust my body again, and find a part of myself I thought I had lost. And the community he has created gave me a place where I could show up as I am.

We all carry heavy baggage… 🫂❤️Some of it starts so young that eventually it becomes part of who we think we are... But babe, c’mon there comes a point where we have to decide: does it end with me, or does it continue through me?

I can acknowledge what happened to me while still taking responsibility for who I become because of it.

And I’ll be damned if the people I love have to carry wounds that I had the opportunity to heal.

That’s the beauty of growing up. You learn. You unlearn. You make mistakes. You heal. You try again. You add new dirt to the pot in order for it to keep growing.

I’m still working on myself.
Still fixing my crown.
Still choosing me.

God got me. I got me. And we didn’t come this far just to come this far.

Let my journey remind you that your story isn’t finished yet… just promise you’ll never throw in the towel on yourself. There are too many people rooting for you, and you already know I’m one of them. 👑💞✨💖

My weight loss journey has never just been about losing over 100 pounds. It became a journey of finding myself again, rebuilding my health, and eventually discovering a love for fitness and running I never knew I had.

Watching someone you love no longer be able to do the things they once could changes your entire perspective on life. It taught me not to take a single day, ability, or person for granted.

It’s why I choose to lead with kindness, because you never truly know what someone is caring, and why I continue choosing to become a better version of myself for the people waiting for me at home.
