🧠 Content that builds trust & attracts ideal clients
🎯 Strategy-led content, not random posting
👇 Let's get you seen and chosen
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
More clients doesn’t always mean a better business. 🙅🏻‍♀️

I’d rather work with a few clients who value what I bring to the table, trust my ideas, and see the value in having someone think strategically about their content.

That’s why I’m becoming more intentional about the kind of clients I want to attract and the kind of work I want to be known for.

I don’t want to build a business just to stay busy. I want to build one that actually fits the life I want and allows me to do work I enjoy.

And I think that starts with being clear about who I want to work with and how I can help them.

If you’re a coach looking for someone who can help you think through your content strategy, not just create random posts, feel free to send me a DM. by @lifewithshellin

I think one of the hardest parts of building a business is learning to trust your own decisions.

You can spend hours researching, taking courses, and looking at how other people do things because you want to make sure you’re making the right choice.

I’ve done this too. Sometimes, I get so caught up trying to figure out the best way to do something that I end up putting off actually doing it. 🥲

But the truth is, you can do all the research in the world and still make the wrong decision.

And that’s okay.

Not every strategy will work. Not every decision will lead to the result you wanted. Sometimes, you’ll have to try something, realize it’s not for you, and figure out a different way.

That’s part of building a business.

I’m learning that I don’t need to get every decision right. I just need to be willing to make a decision, take action, and learn from what happens.

Because staying stuck trying to find the perfect answer won’t move me forward either.

Sometimes, you have to trust yourself enough to try, even when you’re not 100% sure. by @lifewithshellin

I think this is one of the harder parts of building a business that people don’t really talk about. 👇

You’re not just figuring out your offers, your pricing, your content, or how to get clients.

You’re also figuring out who you need to become to actually build the business you want.

- Learning to trust yourself.
- Making decisions without constantly second-guessing them.
- Getting comfortable being uncomfortable.
- Letting go of things that used to work but don’t anymore.
- Learning how to keep going when things aren’t moving as quickly as you’d hoped.

And sometimes, that part takes longer than the business itself.

So if you’re in a season where things feel slow or messy, it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re doing something wrong.

You might just be in the middle of becoming the person who can handle the next version of your business.

Keep going. You’re probably further along than you think. ❤️ taken in Los Angeles, California by @lifewithshellin

I think one of the hardest parts of building the life you want is remembering to appreciate the life you already have.
I’m still dreaming about bigger things. I still have goals I haven’t reached, things I want to build, and a version of my life I’m working toward.
But sometimes I forget that the life I’m living now is something I prayed for years ago.
There are things that feel ordinary to me today that once felt so far away.
And I think I needed that reminder...
To stop looking so hard at what’s missing that I forget to see what’s already here.
I’m still growing. Still figuring things out. Still wanting more.
But I’m also incredibly grateful for how far I’ve come.
Maybe the next version of my life doesn’t need me to rush there. Maybe I can build it while being grateful for this one, too. 😌 by @lifewithshellin

You probably don't need more content ideas.

You need to look at the business you already have.

Your offer is full of content opportunities.

✨The problem you solve.
✨The people you solve it for.
✨The transformation you create.
✨The mistakes your clients make.
✨The beliefs they need to shift.
✨The objections that might stop them from buying.

All of that can become content.

And this is why I don't think content should start with:

“What should I post today?”

It should start with:

“What does my audience need to understand next?”

Because your content has a JOB.

It can attract the right people, build trust, demonstrate your expertise, create desire, address objections, or move someone closer to your offer.

When you start looking at your content this way, you stop creating posts just to fill your feed.

You start creating content that actually supports the business you're building.

And if you're a coach who's tired of carrying the entire mental load of your content, DM me “CONTENT.”

I'll show you how I can take the content work off your plate so you can focus on coaching and running your business. by @lifewithshellin

I’ve invested in myself so many times, and I know firsthand how much the right guidance can change things.

Sometimes you just need someone to help you see what you can’t see on your own, give you the right direction, and remind you that you’re capable of more.

That’s why I believe in coaches.

And that’s why I want to help you get your work in front of the people who are actually ready for that kind of change.

Not just people who want to consume more content.

People who are ready to do the work. ✨ taken in Los Angeles, California by @lifewithshellin

For a long time, I thought being good at freelancing meant being able to do more things.

Social media management.
Content creation.
Copywriting.
Admin work.

And those skills got me started, so I’m grateful for them.

But the more I build my own business, the more I realize I don’t want to be hired just because I can check things off a list.

I want to understand why we’re doing something.

What are we trying to achieve?
Who are we trying to reach?
What does the business actually need?

That’s the direction I’m moving toward now.

Less “What can I do for you?”

More “What are we trying to achieve, and how can I help you get there?”

And I’m still figuring out what that looks like in practice.

But I know this is the kind of business I want to build.

Follow me if you’re interested in seeing me make that transition and figuring it out along the way. ❤️ by @lifewithshellin

Been talking to a lot of coaches lately and I learned that they just don’t have the time to handle social media. They would rather spend time in refining their offers or focus on coaching.

So if you’re a coach who wants to stay visible AND make sure that your content actually gets more leads for your coaching business, let’s have a talk. taken in Los Angeles, California by @lifewithshellin

A content calendar can tell you what you’re posting.

It doesn’t necessarily tell you why you’re posting it. 🙅🏻‍♀️

And I think that’s an important difference.

You don’t need every post to sell, but every post should have a reason for being there.

Maybe it’s helping the right people discover you.
Maybe it’s building trust.
Maybe it’s making your audience want the result you help them get.
Maybe it’s helping someone feel ready to work with you.

Once you start thinking about content this way, you stop asking:

“What else can I post?”

And start asking:

“What does my audience need to see from me right now?”

That shift can completely change how you approach your content.

Before I start throwing content ideas into a calendar, I want to know what we’re actually trying to accomplish.

Because without that, content can quickly become:

❌ “Here are 30 things we could post this month.” ❌

And that’s not really strategy.

When I know the offer, the audience, the problem, the transformation, and what needs to happen before someone buys, I have a much clearer picture of what the content needs to say.

It also makes content creation so much easier.

You’re not constantly asking, “What should we post next?”

You already know what your audience needs to understand.

If you’re a coach who wants to create content that attracts the right people, builds trust in your approach, and creates more interest in your program, follow me. 👈

Building in public is exciting until you open Instagram and suddenly feel like you’re behind. 😅

You see people making $10K, $20K, $50K a month…

And then you look at your own numbers and start questioning whether you’re doing enough.

I’ve definitely felt this.

But I’m learning that someone else’s chapter 10 doesn’t make my chapter 2 any less valuable.

I’m building my business, figuring things out, getting better, making mistakes, and slowly becoming the person I want to be in business.

And I want to document that too.

Not just the big wins.

The awkward beginnings. The small wins. The decisions. The lessons. The parts where I’m still figuring it out.

Because maybe you’re building something too, and you need to see that you don’t have to have it all figured out before you start.

You’re allowed to be proud of the business you’re building while still wanting it to grow.

If you’re building something right now, what’s one thing you’re proud of that you probably wouldn’t have considered a “big win” a year ago? 👇 taken in Los Angeles, California by @lifewithshellin

If you gave me one coaching offer, I could probably get a month of content out of it. 💪🏻

You don’t need to come up with 30 completely different topics. There’s already so much inside the offer you’re trying to sell.

The problem it solves. The people it’s for. The mistakes they’re making. The questions they have. Your approach. Client experiences. Objections. The result they want.

You can take all of those and turn them into different content angles.

And that’s why I like starting with the offer instead of opening a blank content calendar and trying to fill it.

You’re not constantly trying to come up with something new. You’re taking what you already know and finding different ways to talk about it that actually make sense for the people you want to work with.

It makes content planning easier, but it also keeps your content connected to the business.
