I used to experience a range of health issues without understanding the cause. These symptoms included constipation, brain fog, weight gain, stomach pain, body aches, shortness of breath, headaches, mood swings, nerve pain, and muscle pain. I underwent numerous procedures hoping to find relief. Finally, I discovered that these problems were connected to my allergy to gluten and my diagnosis of celiac disease. Finding out the root cause was a relief, as it explained why I couldn't manage my weight and overall well-being. Proud mom moment. Twice in one day! Yesterday my daughter Kimora got recognized in the store by a fan her page, @kimoralovescookiesbruh Watching her take that picture with someone who genuinely loves what she creates, I got emotional.Then my daughter Niyla @niyla.r came across her own moment, a wig promotion feature on my Instagram stories, and I cried. Two daughters, two different journeys, and I’m just sitting here so proud of both of them by @lifewithsleepyy

Today was one for the books! 🤎Spent the whole day hanging with my husband and the guys, and baby, we had a TIME! Good food, lots of laughs, a little Trader Joe’s run because y’all already know I can’t just walk in there and leave empty-handed, plus I made the most delicious Chipotle bowls when we got home.Then we ended the night at the movies, and if you know me, you know I’m pulling up with my own snacks! 😂 Sis has to stay ready. My gluten-free tacos, my little gluten-free Poppi @drinkpoppi , my snacks… because we’re not taking chances over here!This is your reminder that life doesn’t stop. Happy Father’s Day to every amazing man in my life. 💙Today, my heart is full.As I sit and think about all the men who have touched my life, I can’t help but get emotional. Sometimes we get so caught up in celebrating the milestones, the birthdays, the graduations, and the big moments that we forget to stop and honor the men who helped make those moments possible.To my dad, my husband, the fathers of my children, my cousins, my uncles, and every man who has loved, protected, guided, encouraged, supported, and prayed for me or someone I loveThank YouThank you for the sacrifices nobody saw.Thank you for carrying burdens you never talked about.Thank you for showing up even when you were tired.Thank you for working through pain, disappointment, fear, and uncertainty just to make sure your family had what they needed.There were days when you put everyone else’s needs before your own. Today is the day… my baby graduates from high school. 🎓✨And honestly, I don’t even know where the time went. It feels like just yesterday I was walking my little girl into Pre-K, holding her tiny hand, and now here we are celebrating one of the biggest milestones of her life. From the moment I gave birth to her, I knew she was special… but watching her grow into this beautiful, intelligent, determined young woman has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.Y’all… when I say I am emotional, I mean emotional beyond words. Because people see the accomplishment, but they don’t always see the strength, the pressure, the growth, the sacrifices, the late nights, the tears, and the moments she had to push herself harder than anyone will ever know.
