Too many people are loving others with a childish love when God has called us to love with a mature love. 💡

Childish love is self-centered, quick to anger, and conditional.
Mature love is rooted in patience, grace, and commitment, the kind of love God models for us. 🌱💜

Matthew 22:37–38 reminds us: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart … and love your neighbor as yourself.” This love isn’t shallow, selfish, or convenient… it’s intentional, steady, and life-giving. ✨

💭 Imagine if our friendships, families, and communities shifted from childish love to mature love. How different would the world look? 🌍

Anybody who really knows me knows how much I love fireworks. 🎆

A lot of people were excited about this Fourth of July because it marked America’s 250th birthday. But for me, the best part of the night had nothing to do with that.

It was Caleb. 💙

Ever since he was a little boy, fireworks have terrified him. The loud booms would overwhelm him and often send him into a meltdown.

But this year…

He walked outside, stood beside me, and watched the fireworks.

Well… for a little while anyway. 😂 As you’ll see in the video, he didn’t stay still for long. His excitement took over, and hearing his joy throughout the night did something to my mama heart.

Sometimes the biggest victories are the ones no one else notices.

This was one of those moments.
