I should’ve warned him it had a little spice 😂

Jah’s first time in Ghana 🇬🇭 last year at 8 months eating jollof rice 😭

Why he ate it for a whole WEEK and said forget the bottle… just give me rice & chicken 😂

Yesterday at 7am… I got baptized 🥹🕊️🙏🏾 I had to! When I look at my life from 10 years ago to now, I’m honestly in awe ,my Father loves me! His grace kept me even when I didn’t understand it. My life truly reminds me of Jonah… Yall remember when Jonah was called to an assignment but wanted to do the complete opposite? Yet God prepared a great fish to save him. That’s me. 🙏🏾

So many times I ignored my calling. So many times I went against God’s word and His will over my life, yet He still spared me. 💕

I was raised and had my communion in a Catholic church (Notré Dame).
When I was pregnant last year with my son, I converted to Islam, took my declaration of faith, and said my shahada. But even then… I still felt lost. I couldn’t get it.

But Now I Do. 🙌🏾
I’m so grateful that I never stopped searching, that I kept reading, praying, and getting to know God for myself and not just what I was told to believe.

I surrendered. I repented. And I gave my life to my Lord and Savior. 🧎🏾‍♀️🙏🏾💖
THANK YOU JESUS for never giving up on me.

Hey y’all! I packed 3 barrels with things I know we’ll need and some of Jah’s favorite snacks. I didn’t go too crazy because I’m sure I’ll find a lot of these items in Ghana, but since we’re shipping a container… why nottt 🫣
Also grabbed a new gas stove 🥳
For those who’ve moved abroad before, what else should I pack?

First and foremost, it may not have been plenty, but it was something and every little bit made a difference. 🎒📚❤️

We often take so many things for granted. Something as simple as a notebook, pencil, folder, pair of shoes, or school bag can mean so much to a child. This experience reminded me that no matter where we are, many of us have more than we realizeand for that, I have nothing but gratitude.

I thank God for placing me in a position to give back and be a blessing to others. Every child received a book bag, and those who didn’t still went home with notebooks, paper, folders, pencils, and other supplies. Some children were also blessed with shoes and sweaters.

Moving to Ghana was not only about creating a new life for myself and my family. It was also about extending a helping hand and supporting those who truly need it.

We held this giveaway right in front of my business, Sense of Touch Spa & Wellness, and this will not be the last. I pray that in the years ahead, this outreach will grow & that I can partner with barbers, schools, businesses, and other caring individuals to provide even more for our children. Maybe one day, this will even become an NGO. 🤍

It may have started small, but KIDDD IT started 😂😂and I am incredibly grateful. To God be all the glory. This is only the beginning. 🇬🇭✨

Hey y’all 🫶🏾

THE FIRST CONTAINER HAS OFFICIALLY LANDED 😭🙌🏾🇬🇭 And whew… what a day! Everything arrived safe and sound, and finally one step closer to being fully settled in Ghana 🙏🏾

I’m saving the full story for YouTube because baby there is A LOT to unpack 👀

I got to the port around 10 AM and was out by 11 PM 🤦🏾‍♀️ Honestly, the process wasn’t too bad because I had already paid everything nearly a month and a half ago. The only extra thing I had to do was throw a few cedis to a couple of brothers who helped move some items around the vehicle so it could go through inspection.

Y’all heard my agent screaming, “Mommy, your car is here!” only for us to see they had scratched my shid 🤨😭 I was HOT, so I went and sat down to read instead.

I got my temporary tag, which is only valid for 14 days, and now we’re one step closer to being fully settled 🙏🏾

And my bad for being a little missing lately 😭 I’ve had so much to get in order, and honestly… I needed me. 😂💯

If y’all have any questions about shipping containers, customs, port pickup, costs, or moving to Ghana, drop them in the comments and I’ll answer what I can 💛 The rest will be answered Friday on YouTube @lifewithwose.

Trust me, I have SO much more to share with y’all, so stay tuned 😉✨

Hey y’all 🫶🏾

So Jah’s birthday was on the 3rd and not gonna lie… I felt like a bad mom at first 😭 because I literally bought everything for his birthday MONTHS ago and packed it all in the container hoping it would arrive in time for his birthday 💔

But this whole delay taught me a few things…

1. He’s not gonna remember any of this 🥺
2. Less is more
3. As long as I show up for him with love, that’s what matters most 💙

So last week I asked the school if we could do something small for him on Friday and of course they agreed 🥹✨

Now don’t get me wrong… I wanted to go ALL OUT. But I had to sit in reality for a moment because the container still hasn’t arrived and right now I really don’t need to be spending money on anything outside of survival.

But we still did a little something something 🧁😂

And yes… I got cupcakes for myself too because I “wanted to see what the kids would be eating” 😂😂😂 jk… I wanted a cupcake too shidddd 😭

But y’all… Ms. J is BACK wrapping Jah up and he LOVES it 😂💛 They even said a prayer over my baby 🥺🙏🏾

They don’t even call him by his first name at school, they call him by his middle name 😂

But overall… I thank God for community. I thank God for grace. And as a mother, it took me a while to truly overstand that our children are lent to us, so I just want to make the best out of every moment 💙

Most importantly, I’m happy I got pictures and memories for his album so one day he can look back at all of this 🥹✨
