Distant Lifeforms is the joint project of techno artists Lucinee and Lifka - a hardware live act and label rooted in raw, trippy and emotionally driven club music. Their performances and releases dive deep into hypnotic techno like trance elements and high-pressure grooves, always shaped live and in the moment.

The debut EP on our new label @distant.lifeforms is out now!
“First Contact" is a split release with two tracks from each @lucin.ee and me, pressed on eco-friendly recycled vinyl in marbled shades of grey and blue, plus a few black ones for the purists.

Each track is unique and powerful in its own way, but they all carry a spacey, trippy, slightly psychedelic vibe.. some heavier, some smoother, exactly what you’d expect from our signature sounds.
Distant Lifeforms is a multidisciplinary label that goes far beyond releasing music. Besides additionally serving as the name for our collaborative hardware live-performance, we’ll soon be unveiling unique art, and other creations.

After introducing our interdisciplinary label earlier this summer, we – @lucin.ee & @lifka36 – are taking the next step:
We will perform our very first joint hardware live-set as Distant Lifeforms at @das.werk.berlin x @rso.berlin on september 19th 🎛️🎚️

Followed by the labels debut EP release in the beginning of october (digital + vinyl).
Founding this platform and building our live performance has taken and will continue to take countless hours and lots of sweat and tears. It’s an idea we’ve carried with us for years, and seeing it come to life feels very special ✨
In a fast-paced world where surface mostly outweighs depth, we hope to contribute to a movement that has inspired us endlessly – music and experiences that go deeper.
We can’t wait to share this new chapter with you :)))
