✨ WELCOME TO THE TEAM, KADENCE! ✨

At just 18, this beautiful girl is already learning that success isn’t about having the perfect circumstances. It’s about learning to make your circumstances work for you!

Kadence is a full-time college student, living in the dorms, balancing classes, homework, and all the excitement of college life. Yet she’s consistently reaching out each week, looking for ways to better align her daily habits with her goals.

So far, we’ve talked about:

💪🏼No shame in bringing a food scale to the college cafeteria!
💪🏼Using her calendar to time-block her non-negotiables: classes, homework, healthy meals, and weight training.

Kadence is learning that you don’t need a less busy life to build better habits. You need a plan that works within the life you have. ❤️

This is about so much more than building a physique. It’s about discipline, confidence, independence, and learning how to show up for yourself even when life gets busy… and learning this at a young age will set her up for success in her future as her life gets busier with a partner, potential children, home, job, etc!!!

Kadence, I LOVE your initiative and willingness to learn. That’s where the real transformation begins!

Welcome to the team, beautiful! Let’s build something great! ❤️ #coach #bodybuilding #startnow #betterfuture #npcfitmodel by @lifting.with.lisa

It hasn’t been easy for Emily but ohhhh will it be worth it! Here we go beautiful! Let’s cruise into the stage and have some fun!!! I’m one proud coach right here! Stay tuned… 💪🏼❤️💪🏼 #bodybuilding #fitmodel #peakweek #npc #coach by @lifting.with.lisa

Emily, your prep hasn’t come easy to you ; you’ve tackled both gut and hormonal hurdles but you’ve handled it all with grace and enthusiasm actually! Your willingness to keep showing up even when things haven’t been easy is a life skill that will take you so far! And you’re clearly. Probating others along the way 😍

That’s the part of this sport that people don’t always see. They see the physique, the progress pictures, and the stage-ready look, but they don’t see the days when your body isn’t cooperating, when you have to navigate unexpected challenges, or when the journey looks a little different than you planned. And through all of it, Emily has continued to show up with positivity, trust, and a beautiful mindset.

THAT is what makes me proud of you. ❤️ Not just the physique we’re building, but the woman you continue to be throughout this process. The ability to stay positive when things are hard is a strength that goes far beyond bodybuilding, and I hope you recognize just how much that says about you.

Now, girlfriend… WE ARE IN THE HOMESTRETCH!!! 🏁🔥 All of the hard work, the adjustments, the patience, and the perseverance have brought us here, and I couldn’t be more excited to see you bring this all together.

Emily, thank you for trusting me through the ups and downs and for continuing to give this journey your heart. We’re going to take this final stretch one day at a time, keep showing up, and make the most of every moment. I’m so proud to be in your corner. LET’S FINISH THIS THING!!! 🖤💪🏼✨ #bodybuilding #npc #coach #proud #fitmodel by @lifting.with.lisa

Twinning with my crew is my favorite! #coach #team #bodybuilding #connection #mycrew by @lifting.with.lisa

Sierra 💪🏼❤️💪🏼 This girl has impressed me since the beginning; when we were at a posing pool party and she asked me if she could have more carrots as they weren’t necessarily “on her plan”… GIRL!!! #discipline

Meet Sierra! At just 22 years old, she already demonstrates qualities that will take her far beyond #bodybuilding: discipline, emotional maturity, self-awareness, stress management, and consistency. These traits are rare at any age, and seeing them in someone so young is genuinely refreshing! 🙏🏼Bodybuilding is about so much more than building a physique; it’s about building the person behind it. If Sierra continues to nurture these qualities, stays coachable, and trusts the process, I have no doubt she has an incredible future ahead of her, both in this sport and in life. The physique is the goal, but the character built along the way is the real win! 🫶🏼 #hardwork #coach #proud by @lifting.with.lisa

It’s amazing how the universe puts something in front of you at the exact moment you need it ❤️ Sometimes, the most meaningful reminders of who you are come from people who have only known you for a day.

I recently had a college student @copy_kittykat, spend the day shadowing me and interviewing me as I worked with clients throughout my personal training schedule. I just found this note in a nearly sealed envelope on my desk; sharing how inspiring it was to watch the way I train, connect with people, and approach what I do.

And honestly, that meant more to me than she probably realizes.

Because the older I get, the more I realize that growth isn’t measured solely by degrees you received, or how much money you make. It’s measured by how much you’re willing to put the work in to show up for others, the impact you leave on people, and the kind of person you become along the way.

To know that someone can spend just one day watching me work and walk away feeling inspired is a reminder that the things we sometimes overlook in ourselves are the very things other people notice most. We don’t always get to see our own impact. Adela, come back anytime and I do hope to have you on my roster… you know where to find me ;)

And how the Universe knew I needed to hear this right now is just astonishing ❤️🌎❤️ The greatest accomplishment is becoming someone who inspires others simply by being who you are. ❤️ #coach #change #listen #learn #grow by @lifting.with.lisa

20 POUNDS DOWN. 👏🏼🔥 And LOOK at that back!!
I’m so freaking proud of this girl @carelyn_mayberry, not because she’s been perfect, but because she’s been consistent. For 9️⃣ months, we’ve focused on the basics. Showing up. Following the training plan. Following the nutrition plan. Communicating. Paying attention to her body. Making adjustments when life actually requires them instead of constantly looking for something new to change. And let me be clear: consistency does NOT mean perfect execution. There have been times where life caught up with her and we intentionally pulled back from the gym for several days because she needed to reduce accumulated fatigue. That’s not failure; that’s self-awareness.
We’ve also only manipulated her nutrition a handful of times, largely to strategically accommodate her Type 1 diabetes and make sure she’s getting her carbohydrates where they need to be. We didn’t need to reinvent the wheel every few weeks. We needed to execute the basics long enough for them to work.
And now?
20 pounds down.
A completely different back.
More muscle.
More confidence.
And, most importantly, a much better understanding of what consistency actually looks like. This is exactly why I’m always talking about foundations first. Before we start chasing advanced strategies, supplements, complicated protocols, or constantly changing the plan, we have to prove that we can consistently do the simple things. Boring works. Consistency works. And when you give the basics enough time, THIS is what happens. 💪🏼 #consistencyiskey #bodybuilding #coach #dothework #proud by @lifting.with.lisa
