I was always fond of sit down abhinaya videos , but the game changed as I watched some artists ace it .
.
@sudhana28 is an artist who does such a great job , and it was a pleasure to attend her workshop recently! It was great to understand the thought , and the theory behind it , and after a few attempts, this is what I have. A long way to go , but a humble start ! Thanks for your guidance and patience Sudhana!
.
Also thank you @poornimagururaja
Aunty for the great foundation and constant support to explore and inspiration to build great imaginary stories

Janaki Nath Sahay Kare - P2
.
Here , Draupadi, is described as Vimala ( delicate one) ,imo, was definitely delicate by choice . While she is shocked to learn that her husband lost her in a game of dice, the irony of Yudhishthira losing to adharma and patriarchy is evident. She scoffs, asking Dushasana, did the queen in her die ? and is she a slave , all in a moment? She beseeches to none even in that moment of extreme pain , embarrassment and even wild anger, except her Lord , her brother , Krishna.
.
All of us women need the Lord to hold us , to give us the strength to fight the evils , oh Maryada Purushottam Ram ,Janaki Natha , won't you protect us?

Janaki Nath Sahay Kare - P1

When I heard this beautiful beautiful krithi by Tulsidas ji, it melted my heart and how , the Part 2 is more real , and poignant and heart breaking. But in the first part , they say , oh Rama, none of the Navagrahas would disobey you and follow your blessing with theirs, please bless us , consort of Maa Janaki! Having recently learnt the Navagraha Hastas , this was such a beautiful way to use them 🥺

This Sunday marked my second return to behind the lens for a beautiful concert by @aarabhianand for @ananya_bengaluru 's Ananya Nrithya Chillume. Such a mature , strong performance of two sassy , feminist in love pieces , with the Varnam Anname , Aruginil Vaa setting the tone for the irked and deeply jealous Devayani , moving on to the hurt nayika in Saako Ninna Sneha , withdrawing from her beloved Krishna who has found arms in the solace of another. Such beautiful choreography and just deliverance , was a delight.

Thank you @kalasindhu_academy and @poornimagururaja aunty for this.

Drushika by Lavanthi & Kalasindhu at Ananya Nruthyollasa was special for many reasons. Knowing that Lavanthi as an artist always delights , having ishta devathe and all compositions I love personally and with incredible vocals by @aarabhianand , it was bound to be beautiful.

But the amount of thought by @poornimagururaja aunty and @lavanthi_s_kumar into invoking Devaki , invoking the playful and even the enchanter Krishna effortlessly and with so many metaphors and similes were beautiful to watch. And in the end , the abhang brought together all Bhakthi with surrender with the freeing joy, and seeing the lord everywhere, in whatever form that pleases us , and ultimately, in no form.
.
Thank you @ananya_bengaluru and @lavanthi_s_kumar for this 🙏🩵
