For those in Melbourne come by - 3 sides, curated by Jeremy Kibel, brings together Kyle Jenkins (Toowoomba), Giles Ryder (Thailand), and David Thomas (Melbourne). Across painting, sculpture and installation, the artists have developed distinct languages of abstraction through colour, material and space. Bringing these three practices into proximity reveals points of connection as well as difference. Colour, surface, light and form shift in relation to the works around them, opening new spatial and perceptual relationships across the exhibition. FRACTURED GALAXY by @light_space_projects is an artist from Australia that features lightwork that has been inspired from his research and stay in Southeast Asia, the work itself represents his observations regarding modernity around the region. FRACTURED GALAXY is showed at @fotoclubbkk studio at @noise__43 for @bangkokdesignweek Fractured Galaxy is a loose abstract cartoon like galaxy is rendered as a graphic proposition of matter at its most vast and deep– reduced down to a version of electrically charged gassed tubes of materials - fractured and orbiting coloured neon. In one sense a Mickey Mouse galaxy, but as we know even within these reductions there is sense that can be made and nonsense is more plausible in today’s greater cultural environment that from the intense fracturing and complex world the simplicity of things is also our much needed respite from the digital into the material and back. Some images of recent works in a former 'massage parlor', a massive multi-level abandoned site with its own relics inside, showing its past trade, in part. ARTISTS of S.O.E SOUND OF ERA : UDON THANI We are pleased to announce the full artist lineup participating in the second chapter of S.O.E. 2025: Sound of Era contemporary art festival. Total of 19 artists will exhibit their works reflecting the zeitgeist of Udon Thani. Udon Thani is a buffer-state territory shaped by layers of war, culture, and archaeology. It is a city of thresholds and connections, formed along the lines of railways and major roads. The exhibition venue at Thai Nguan Rice Mill and Holiday Massage reflect overlapping layers of development, economy, and memory that have accumulated across different eras of the city. The Vennues in Udon Thani province will be open to the public from December 20th to 30th, 2025, with the opening ceremony on December 26th, 2025. Stay tuned for more updates!
