Who check the camera when they’re not home.

The ones who worry more than they’d ever admit.

Who know these dogs aren’t “just dogs.”

I’m 44 with a Labradoodle and a Yorkie Pomeranian. I didn’t build a life around school pickups or daycare schedules. I built mine around dogs who feel like and are family.

It’s not a life everyone would choose, but it’s one I chose intentionally.

Late night potty breaks.
Birthday cakes for dogs.
Glow walks.
Road trips planned around pet friendly stops.
A camera roll full of paws and the happiest faces.

And honestly? I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

I know there are other women like me, and if this somehow found its way into your algorithm, you belong here too.

The glasses San Diego dog moms keep asking me about.. 👓🐾

I have three pairs from @SauntEyewear, and they’re my absolute favorites! They’re so very lightweight, have the prettiest matte finish, and are designed and made right here in San Diego. I love that the frames are made from plants too. 🌱

And the best part of this walk? Getting to hang out with the best Doberman ever, @missripdobie 🐶

Harrison: absolutely not.

He’s looking outside, like I was the one that personally arranged this weather. Please tell me he’s not the only one who thinks a little rain is a full blown emergency. Ha.
