It’s finally time to share my big news 🤗 WELCOME TO THE LIGHTBLOOM TEAM, my two new associate photographers!!!!! Everyone - meet Neal & Erin! I’ve been running my business as a solo artist since 2013 and it’s finally time to bring on a couple more amazing artists and expand! This means more availability, more pricing options, and triple the fun 😉 booking for associate photographers officially opens NOW!

Hiring one of my lovely associate photographers means you get to work with them for your engagement photos and your wedding day, while Allison still organizes everything and edits all of your photos, so you’re still getting the full Lightbloom experience. I can’t wait for you to get to work with these two amazing humans!

10-17-26 🩷 Hannah & Antwaiin planned an intimate beach wedding out at the very end of Oak Island. Of course, it was another weekend of unpredictable weather and they had to pivot some plans but by some miracle, they were still able to have their ceremony out on the beach! That’s all we could really ask for! They had a private chef come out to the beach house to prepare a multi course dinner, which is a luxury that not a lot of large weddings would ever be able to do, and what a treat! Congrats to these two sweet sweet humans 😍 truly can’t wait to go through all of these images and get to work!

It’s been a whirlwind of a weekend celebrating two of my best friends getting married and stepping on the OTHER side of the camera and being a bridesmaid instead of a photographer! So much fun. I’d do it again tomorrow. (After a full 24 hours of rest today thank you) and ummmm what is this sudden cold front?! I’ll take it. Bring on real fall temps and let’s keep this crazy wedding season going! Lots of pics to edit lots of weddings to share lots more weddings to shoot - here we go!

You know what I LOVE?! When a couple is so in love that they forget they are posing for a camera. Erin met up with Hannah & Antwaiin last week to snap some engagement photos of these two before their wedding (which is THIS WEEKEND!!!) and they got a gloomy evening at Fort Fisher. You know what looks gorgeous with gloom? A bunch of ocean side cuddles and big belly laughs. Just being yourselves is truly the best way to absolutely NAIL candid photos and these two were like pros. 🩷 now let’s get them married!!!!

Erin ventured out to Oak Island this weekend to photograph Tori & Patrick’s beach house wedding! Not the best odds when you find out it’s 100% chance of storms on your beach wedding day, but by some miracle it cleared up for them to still be able to have their beach ceremony and all their portraits outside! Truly unreal, and I am in absolute AWE of Tori’s dress: are you kidding me?! The floral details are everything. This is my kinda bride 😍 shout out to Erin for braving the storm and knocking it outta the park no matter what. Can’t wait to get to work on all these gorgeous photos

“Hey Liv - are you today’s date? Because you are a 10/10!” - my favorite quote from yesterday 😂😂😂 YOU GUYS LET ME GUSH ABOUT OLIVIA & AUSTIN FOR A MINUTE OKAY: these two planned a wedding on one of the most popular dates of 2026, every vendor I knew had a wedding that day, and we all got rained out, allllllllll day. Did these two complain ONCE? Did they stop having fun and remember that it was raining? Not at all. They had the best day ever, and it really was. Every detail was thought out and hand made by Liv, it was stunning and it was so unique. I also fell in love with their dog, Mozzi, who was a particularly handsome addition to the wedding party. He even wore a suit for the special occasion. Thank you for the best day, Olivia & Austin! I’m going to have so much fun working my way through all of these gorgeous images 😍 CONGRATS to the happy couple!!!!

This week, Amanda and Brian got married at beautiful Airlie Gardens!! These two were so easy to capture on camera, so easy to be around, and so much fun. I love a wedding day like this one. No stress, gorgeous weather, and just two people in love. ❤️
