Recently we were tasked by the legends at @wearechief to capture aerial footage of the london eye for a 25 year celebration film. Director @natecamponi as always is looking for the best light and the unique angles that tell a story. Nearly 12 years ago I saw the first drone footage on the London Eye and it’s stuck with me, the Eye is iconic. We were very proud to be a small part of such a historical milestone. Taking advantage of an ongoing collab with @dronescope we achieved so much extra with Josh’s OSC and scored some stunning morning light. @djiglobal #inspire3 x9 on standard glass with promist shooting 8k DNG Raw. Black Church with @stallards - I think 3+ years on the hard drive is long enough. Releasing this into the wild, and a wild one it was to shoot! Just incredible scenes and artistry from Simon, never seen anything like it. The location, the weather, the smells… amazing. it was an odd day for me as my son went into hospital just as we started rolling but we managed to make it happen. Throw back an amazing 8 years! To when we flew the a phantom flex 4K on a @djiglobal ronin 2 for @formidable.agency . Another techy word first and required some very tricky accessory placements and additional weighting before any base plates, cages or support bars where available. by @lightcoloursound
