I often get asked how I got into knitting and the truth is it’s all thanks to my mum! Two years ago she gifted me a knitting kit (despite me insisting I’d never work it out)… not only did I figure it out, I fell in love with it immediately 🌟

The first piece I ever knitted as a gift was of course for her: a Primrose Slipover. Very conveniently, she decided to learn to knit right after that 🤭 and now it’s something we get to share and enjoy together, which I value so much. 💗 Somewhere along the way, we started making the same patterns and knew we had to make a video out of it!

Recently, we took a very knitting-related trip to Copenhagen and it was there that she fell in love with @redesigned_project Project 26 yarn barrels. I already use and love my Redesigned bags every day, so I knew it would make the perfect Mother’s Day gift for her too. The quality is honestly incredible, and they’re the kind of pieces you know you’ll keep and use for a lifetime!

Now we’re already planning our next matching project, the Norma Sweater, ready to cast on with our new matching project bags. I’m sure there’ll be a second part to this video by next year !!

This is my 1st ever colourwork. Started in April and finished in June, today was finally cold enough to wear it for the 1st time. I transformed a bit the original pattern from @lenesknitwear #wildcloversweater by lengthening the sleeves and replacing ribbings by I-cords. Made in my favourite Tilia mohair by @filcolana. I have already a new colourwork planned in my long project list 😉 by @lightcuriosite
