I’m happy to share that Light Fader handled the sound design on recent content for Zenless Zone Zero, HoYoverse’s stylish urban fantasy action RPG.

Fast, punchy and full of attitude, it’s a game where every hit, every transition and every ambience has to land. A real playground for sound design.

Golden Joystick Awards !

We still haven't gotten used to this.

Every year, it seems, games we've worked on keep popping up across the nominations. And this year is no exception with not one, not two, but three Light Fader projects nominated at the Golden Joystick Awards 2026:

🎮 Nioh 3: Console Game of the Year
🎮 Genshin Impact: Still Playing (Mobile)
🎮 Neverness to Everness: Still Playing (Mobile)

2026 has genuinely been an extraordinary year on so many levels, and this is very much part of it.

This isn't just any ceremony: the Golden Joystick Awards is the world's longest-running video game awards show (44th edition this year), and crucially, a 100% public vote. Players themselves get to decide, not a closed jury.

That changes everything: these nominations are a gift from you.

Thank you to the whole team, and to the voice actors and composers who made all of this possible.

What made us doubt 20 years in this business came down to a pair of AirPods.

Version 2, 3, 4, 5… brutal feedback, and after ten days, the real question: "What are you listening on?"

The answer: AirPods, on public transport.

Nobody would judge a painting wearing sunglasses, right?

Sound designers are artists before they are technicians. You don't rush an artist: you trust them, give context rather than adjectives, and listen on proper equipment.
