This season in 20 seconds….It’s been a wild ride! Let’s keep going. 💪⚡️🙌 by @lightfighterracing

MotoAmerica Superbike Championship runner-up and OrangeCat Racing star Sean Dylan Kelly (SDK) and LF Super hooligan racer and former Twins Cup champion Kaleb de Keyrel were on hand at Barber Motorsports Park to demonstrate our potent V3-RS package. The AHRMA Vintage Fest at Barber is one of our favorite events of the year, with big grids and even bigger crowds.

This year was special as we had a record 4 Lightfighters racing in our own class within SOT2 and legal to bump up to Formula Thunder to race head-to-head with some of the fastest gas bikes and riders in the series. This event marked the return of Troy Siahaan as well as a unique opportunity for OCR team owner Andrew Sieja to grid up next to his riders.

After 2 solid days of practice, a hurricane disrupted our weekend, but it dried out enough on Sunday to get the fore mentioned Formula Thunder race in. SDK and KD started at the back of the field (AHRMA grids by points), but sliced through traffic to catch the leaders by the end of the first lap. SDK finished in P2 and KD in P4 overall ater a great battle with Robertino Pietri. Lap times dropped into the 29s and 28s for great result under tricky conditions as there was still some damp patches on the track. SDK holds the new V3-RS lap record at Barber with a 1’28.189, nearly 1s faster than our debut with the bike back in 2024.

Very proud of the result and honored to be a part of the AHRMA family! Thanks to all who support our efforts as we continue to push forward! 💯 by @lightfighterracing

After the storm passed on Saturday, the team got busy setting our pit area back up and getting bikes ready to go back out on track for the final day of the AHRMA Vintage Fest at Barber Motorsports Park. by @lightfighterracing

Great day of practice out here before the weather rolls in. Our 4 Lightfighter racers held down the top of the time sheets in our 4 practice sessions with SDK and KD dropping into the 1’28s. by @lightfighterracing

Got to spin some laps on the @lightfighterracing V3-RS at Cota 🔥⚡️

What a ride it’s been. From big breakthroughs and podium moments to challenges that pushed us to keep learning, developing, and coming back stronger, it has been a season to remember. But we’re not finished yet. 👀 One final race weekend. One last chance to send it. See you at NJMP! by @lightfighterracing

35 riders got a chance to hustle the Lightfighter around a hot and humid Circuit of the Americas track last week logging nearly 200 laps of the iconic circuit. It was amazing to see 6 of our RS and RH models circulating with a huge range of rider skillsets from trackday novices to MotoAmerica Racers to World Superbike Pros! Everyone appreciated the handling of the bike through the quick transitions in the Esses as well as the stability on the brakes. Our Rider Support System (RSS) allowed riders to study their data and improve session to session. We are so grateful to OrangeCat Racing for allowing us to be a part of this 2 day private track day. If this looks like fun, send us an email and let's get you booked for our next on-track adventure!

UPDATE: After a season of big strides, hard lessons, and relentless development, we’ve made the decision that the Lightfighter program will not compete at COTA and will officially close out our 2026 season.

We pushed hard to be ready for one final showdown, but ultimately, our focus is bigger than one race. We’re taking everything we’ve learned this season and putting it toward building a stronger 2027.

The work doesn’t stop here. Back to the lab. Back to testing. Back to pushing the limits. Thank you to our partners, team, and everyone who has supported the Lightfighter program this season. We’re just getting started. You can read the full release on our story or website. by @lightfighterracing

What a day! We had perfect weather for our one-day demo event at Sonoma Raceway. This was our first time back to Sonoma in a couple of years and it didn't disappoint. It was awesome running with the Carter's at the Track team, who were great to work with and very accommodating by allowing us to bring the full rig into their paddock. We really enjoyed getting experienced riders on the bikes to show them first-hand why we're so excited about pairing an EV drivetrain with modern race-bike geometry, components, and data. It seemed like everyone had a great time, stayed upright, and maybe even left believers.... If you want to get behind the bars of the Lightfighter, send us a message at ride@lightfighter-racing.com. Lightfighter for the win ⚡️🤘🏼

Added another race ride to the list. This time it’s electric, two wheels and my first time on track with slicks.

‘Factory rider for a day’ did not disappoint. Custom telemetry and data was on point and the team had the bike absolutely dialed.

When can I have another go?

I’m good at making things go fast ⚡️🤘🏼

Lightfighter makes #45 on the list of race vehicles, and another epic electric development project I’ve gotten to test out.

The team is incredible, the data and telemetry systems super detailed, and I kept it in the top 3 all day at Sonoma Raceway.

2027 plans?

Last weekend was one for the record books! We had an epic 3 days of riding with OrangeCat Racing at Autobahn Raceway in Joliet, IL. Over 40 riders completed well over 500 laps on our Lightfighter V3-RS and V3-RH models. The leaderboard was frantic with changes, but happy to report everyone stayed upright and those Pirelli SC3s lasted the 3 days of punishment under Pro and Novice riders alike. So grateful to be invited to OrangeCat Fest and be a part of this awesome event. Thanks to everyone who came over and test rode. Your smiles and enthusiasm are the fuel that keep@us pushing forward! 🙏⚡️💪👍🇺🇸 by @lightfighterracing
