If you just found us — welcome to our island dream. 🏝
We’re Raneem and Naseem, two sisters from Toronto who followed a calling for something deeper — more peaceful, more connected, more real.🚤

After years of building our careers in the city, we felt the pull. It wasn’t about leaving behind the hustle — it was about creating balance, finding joy in the present moment, and carving out a space to share with others feeling the same way.🌴

That calling led us here — to Little Corn Island, a tiny car-free island off the coast of Nicaragua, where nature leads and life slows down.🙋‍♀️

We created The Lighthouse Retreat for people like us — yoga teachers, retreat leaders, wellness seekers, and solo travelers who crave a break from the buzz and want to reconnect with themselves and others in a meaningful way. 🤿

Our retreat venue is perched on a hill surrounded by jungle and ocean breezes, just a 10-minute walk from the sea. Whether you're hosting your dream retreat or joining one, this is a space to breathe, move, and just be.🧘‍♀️

You don’t drive to paradise. You arrive by boat. 🚤

And once you’re here, you trade the car for sandy paths, tropical trails, boat rides, and your own two feet.🏃‍♀️

No cars. No paved roads. Just palm-lined paths, ocean breezes, and the freedom to wander. 🐚

Because on Little Corn Island, getting around is part of the adventure.
🤿

Welcome to paradise. 🤍

Happy Birthday to my sister, my best friend, and my business partner. ❤️🌴

Sometimes I stop and think about our journey together and honestly… I can’t believe how far we’ve come.

From growing up together to somehow ending up building a life and a business on a tiny Caribbean island, waking up to the ocean, chasing sunsets, living in paradise, and figuring it all out as we go. 🌊☀️

It hasn’t always been easy. There have been beautiful days, hard days, big risks, plenty of “what the hell are we doing?” moments 😂 and more than a few times when we’ve had to remind each other why we started.🙏🏾

But through it all, we’ve had each other and the love and support of our family cheering us on along the way. ❤️

And as crazy as this journey has been, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Living in paradise is pretty amazing… but getting to experience this wild life with my sister makes it even more special. ❤️

Happy Birthday, Naseem. 🥂

Here’s to another year of life, laughter, ocean swims, sunsets, new adventures, and whatever crazy chapter comes next.
I’m so lucky to call you my sister. I love you to the moon and back 🌙

Maybe you weren’t meant to live an ordinary life that looks good to everyone else. 👀
Maybe you were meant to feel free, alive, a little wild, and completely yourself. 🌞🌊

If this found you in August, maybe it’s your sign to stop playing small and start making space for the life you’ve been dreaming about. 💯

Send this to someone who needs permission to be a little wild. 🤍

This is my life on Little Corn Island, Nicaragua.
Barefoot. Sun-soaked. Wild at heart. 🤍

Would you choose this life?
No cars, no noise, no crowds. 🙏🏾

A little piece of paradise on the east side of Little Corn Island. 🌴🌊

"My Dreams" was created by a local woman and her supportive husband, who turned her dream of having a little beachfront place into reality and named it exactly that: My Dreams. 💙

And while I’m over here living some of my own dreams on this beautiful island, I can completely relate. There’s something so special about watching someone create the life and place they once only dreamed about.

Good food, Caribbean waters, warm people, and a dream brought to life right on the beach. 🌺
Little Corn Island really is a beautiful place to dream. 🏝️
