Another fruitful and exciting trip down south for my annual participation in the creation of live theatre!
Spent a few weeks down in Sandy Springs, GA with CSTC again prepping, hanging, and teching the lighting rig for their production of Les Misérables to kick off their 26-27 season. It was the first time I’ve ever worked on or even seen this show (I know) and lemme tell ya, those characters are SAD!! But it’s a compelling story that CSTC did a phenomenal job bringing together into a must-see spectacle. The teams that brought this idea to life never cease to amaze me.
It’s a pleasure and a privilege to get to be a part of a theatrical production, and these folks have graciously provided me that outlet again. They bring in so much solid talent that I always leave these projects with immense appreciation of everything that goes into these labors of love we put onstage. Live theatre continues to stoke that fire that launched me into this wild world in the first place, and now I head up the coast onto the next corporate gig, ready to do work.

Side note: I had a rental car this time, which allowed me to zip around finding all these AMAZING little gems in and around town. Here’s my list of tops from this trip:
- La Cubana: get the Cuban sandwich and snag cafe bustelo to go on the way out.
- Hoboken Bread & Bagel Co: Upside down visor, peace and love.
- Literally anything at Buttermilk Kitchen
- Gus’s Fried Chicken, yes it’s a chain, no I don’t care. Good food gets recognized.
- Ship & Anchor Pub!!!
- Cafe Intermezzo for their coffee menu
