What if the fixture set the tone before anyone sat down?

Avenue Lighting designs the way Los Angeles builds a skyline. Hollywood glamour, Beverly Hills proportion, California ease. Cascading marbleized crystal, open LED cages, mid-century glass that reads like jewelry. Strong enough for a lobby or dining room. Scaled enough for a suite, a bar, or a high-end residence.

The brief I hear most: presence without a six-month custom wait, and finishes that photograph as well as they specify. Avenue sits in that lane. Affordable luxury, with custom when the architecture asks for it. Their work already lives in Hilton, Marriott, and Hard Rock spaces.

I’ve been sketching a few lobby and foyer applications. Tag a colleague who specs decorative lighting if this is their kind of brief.

Where are you placing the statement piece right now, lobby, dining, or the room that has to do both?

Save this if a hospitality package is on your desk, then write Todd@LightingGEEKS.com to walk the full Avenue range and open a Lighting Geeks trade account. Trade pricing, priority on new collections, spec sheets, and project support.

What if the fixture were the narrative, not the finish?

Kenneth Cobonpue’s lighting is still the piece I send when a room needs presence that a catalog chandelier cannot deliver. Handwoven in Cebu from rattan, wire mesh, steel, cotton rope, and molded rice paper, the work draws on nature, fable, and the sea around the studio. Curio turns shells, insects, and creatures into hollow forms lit from within. Barnacle glows through rice paper. Limbo freezes aerialists mid-flight.

The designer problem is familiar: a lobby, dining room, or residence that must feel authored, not specified. These pieces carry craft and story, and one well-placed fixture can hold the room — hospitality, high-end residential, gallery, or a private dining alcove.

We’ve been mapping where a single Curio or Barnacle works harder than a full package. Tag a colleague who specs statement lighting.

Where would you hang one first?

Save this if you’re mid-spec, then write us at Todd@LightingGEEKS.com to explore the range and open a trade account — trade pricing, priority access, and design resources.

When the fan has to look specified—not like a box-store leftover—where do you start? We’ve been living in Fanimation’s 2026 lineup: Spitfire DC you actually configure, Wrap’s quiet versatility, Corke’s new compact profile, TorchAire when you need air and light in one fixture. Same family can move from a dry great room to a damp porch without a second vendor conversation. That mix-and-match logic is what saves us on hospitality terraces and residential volumes where the ceiling is part of the architecture. Spec sheets and ratings are there when the GC asks.Tag a designer who’s still fighting “the fan that doesn’t belong.”What’s the last project where airflow had to disappear into the design—or steal the room? #LightingDesign #InteriorDesign #HospitalityDesign #ToTheTrade by @lightinggeeksdotcom

Ever specified a corridor where the sconce had to disappear and still carry the room?

That’s the Access indoor wall-sconce lineup we keep reaching for. Slim ADA-friendly profiles, integrated LED, damp-rated options, and families that actually talk to each other — so a hallway, vanity, and stair landing can feel like one idea, not three SKUs.

The pain it solves: you need repeatable, dimmable, contract-ready wall light without looking “builder.” Artemis glass, Iconic metal, Pipeline cylinders — same language, different volume.

We’ve been pairing them in hospitality runs and residential halls where the architecture should stay first. Happy to walk finishes and photometrics if you’re mid-spec.

Tag a colleague wrestling with a long corridor.

What’s your go-to sconce when ADA, damp, and a quiet silhouette all have to win?

Ever notice how a room can feel finished… until the light hits and you realize the fixture is doing all the talking?

That’s where Elegant Lighting earns its place on our spec lists. Crystal-forward chandeliers, sculptural pendants, and coordinated vanities that move from classic Maria Theresa sparkle to cleaner contemporary lines without looking like they came from two different catalogs. For high-end residential, boutique hospitality, and dining rooms that need a true centerpiece, the collections give you scale, finish consistency, and enough presence that the rest of the interior can stay quieter.

What designers keep coming back for: breadth under one roof — lighting, mirrors, bath — so a whole floor can feel gathered rather than pieced together. And when a client wants “wow” without a custom wait, these pieces deliver.

Tag a colleague who’s specifying a dining room or lobby this quarter.

Which room are you lighting next — and does it need quiet glow or a full statement?

What if a linear fixture could read as a drawn line instead of a housing?

We’ve been looking at Phaino’s Linear collection with designers who are tired of chunky profiles over dining tables and islands. Xuron is the piece that keeps coming up — a blade-thin metalized bar, roughly a quarter-inch wide, with adjustable cable so the line sits exactly where the architecture needs it.

It solves the usual trade-off: you want a continuous glow and a quiet ceiling, but you also want the fixture itself to feel designed. Hospitality dining, residential kitchens, gallery runs, and boutique retail all take it well because it organizes the space without competing with millwork or art.

We’ve been mapping a few multi-length compositions and pairing ideas with the rest of the Phaino line if that’s useful for a current board.

Tag a colleague who’s specifying a long table or a quiet corridor.

Where would you run a line this thin — over a table, along a kitchen, or as a gallery spine?

Share this with your studio, then reach out at Todd@LightingGEEKS.com to review the full Linear range and open a trade account for pricing, priority access, and project support.

What if the exterior of a project could feel as considered as the rooms inside it?

We’ve been walking Maxim’s outdoor collections with designers who keep running into the same gap: the porch, path, and patio lighting looks like an afterthought next to a refined interior. Maxim answers that with families that actually hold together—wall mounts, hanging lanterns, deck lights, posts, and marine-grade fans that share finish language from coastal and craftsman through clean modern and dark-sky profiles.

That matters on hospitality terraces, high-end residential entries, and outdoor dining where you need weather-rated hardware, selectable CCT LED, and a spec sheet that won’t fight the architecture. Bramwell VX, Caldera, Colombo, and Cabana are the ones we keep pulling when a project needs cohesion, not just another lantern.

Tag a colleague who is specifying an exterior now. What outdoor condition is hardest for you to light well—salt air, dark-sky codes, or matching an existing interior finish?

Ever specified a vanity bar that looked sharp on the elevation — then felt cheap once the mirror lights went on?

We’ve been walking Access Lighting’s vanity families with designers who needed that middle ground: clean lines, real task light, and finishes that sit next to stone and hardware without shouting. Linear LED, opal or acrylic glow, damp-rated, dimmable, and most pieces mount horizontal or vertical. Same fixture language from a powder room to a hotel guest bath.

What we’re hearing on projects: color-selectable Loft when the tile isn’t locked, Madison and Citi when the vanity is long and the camera angle matters, brushed gold or antique brass when the rest of the room is already warm.

Tag a colleague who’s mid-bath package.

Which vanity problem is eating your time right now — glare, finish match, or a fixture that only works one orientation?

What if the fixture is the architecture?
We have been walking through Blown’s Czech-blown glass with a few of you lately — Petals that feel suspended mid-air, ribbon swirls for a foyer, Minis that give a room character without shouting. Each piece is hand-blown, so no two reads are the same. That is the point.
For hospitality dining, a residential stair void, or a gallery-scale wall, this is how you get a feature that is specified to the space instead of adapted from a catalog. Sampling and engineering happen before production. We have been talking through scale, drop heights, and how crystal reads against dark vs. pale interiors.
Tag a designer who is still hunting for that one unrepeatable moment in a project.
Where would you place a blown-glass installation first — entry, dining, or a vertical void?

Ever specified a ceiling fan and still felt the room needed more presence?

The Matthews Italo Ventania 60” in Ametista (light purple metal) is the one we pull when a space has to circulate air and hold the eye. Dual side-mounted heads sit in vortex-sculpted arms and rotate slowly on an equatorial path—you set each head through a 180° arc, and the angle itself changes how the whole piece moves. Six metal blades, damp-rated, 2,278 CFM at high. Sculpture first. Fan second.

We have been placing it in hospitality lounges, covered terraces, and residential great rooms where a standard paddle would flatten the architecture. Designers keep asking how far they can push the rotation for a more kinetic read—happy to walk that through on a project.

Tag a colleague who is wrestling with a large volume that still needs a quiet breeze.

What room would you give this kind of movement?

Ever specify a vanity and still end up fighting shadows, fog, or a CCT that fights the tile?

The Harmoni 20 × 28 arched LED mirror in black is the piece we keep pulling for those rooms. Front-and-back light wraps the face without glare. Touch through warm, neutral, or daylight; long-press to dim. Anti-fog stays clear after a hot shower. 90 CRI keeps finishes honest. Slim iron-and-aluminum frame, copper-free glass, hanging cleats—clean install, no extra sconces required.

We’ve used it as a quiet hero in guest suites and as a pair flanking a longer vanity when the architecture wants an arch, not another rectangle.

Tag a designer who’s mid-bath package.

What’s the one vanity detail you refuse to compromise on anymore?
