The Winner of the People’s Choice Award 2026 🏆
Kim Lang @kimlangstudio

The people have spoken 📸 A big congratulations to our People’s Choice winner. His series “Nations of the Atlantic” clearly connected with the audience and stood out in its own way.
Lets hear more about the artist’s work.

“Nations of the Atlantic is an ongoing photographic body of work by Kim Lang. The project focuses on a variety of island nations, stretching from West Africa to the Caribbean Sea, and explores their intimate relationship with the ocean…. The sea can be therefore be seen as either as a barrier between nations or as a vessel connecting them. The project focuses on the latter and explores their intimate universal experience of places that fall outside broader continental narratives, but whose everyday lives rely deeply on the ocean: small island nations….”
