POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

TWO DAYS! Strikes Twice is a literary magazine dedicated to work that challenges the societal norms that diminish our humanity. Through short stories, poetry, essays, and criticism, we amplify bold, singular voices that reflect the complexity of our shared experience. Each piece confronts, questions, and reimagines-revealing not just who we are as individuals, but who we are together.

In this issue:
📝"Fernando's Fortune" (fiction) by Ashley Cowger, a short story on grief, the illusion of closure, and chasing an end that might never come. @ashley.cowger

📝 "Danielle" (fiction) by Steven Ovadia, a short story on what can - and cannot - be fixed.

Poetry by Richard Jeffrey Newman on on passion and indulgence (@rjnwrites), Carrie Cohen on reconciling the resemblance between medicine and crimes against women, and C. Nooriel Nolan on seeing color (@1woman_writes).
