Story time: We were returning from Chiklihole Reservoir in Coorg and stopped for tender coconut when I spotted this cow. Somehow, I felt like it looked right at me, and I just wanted to go feed it. I ended up spending some time with it, and I can’t really explain what I felt in that moment(without sounding crazy🤭). Towards the end, I noticed tears in its eyes. I don’t know what that moment was, but it just stayed with me, and I wanted to keep a little piece of it through this video🤍🩷

Last year, around November, I felt an unexplainable calling to book my very first solo trip to Kashi. I didn’t know why Kashi…I just knew I had to go.

A week before I left, something happened that changed everything. And almost immediately after, I had to leave to Kashi.

The moment I reached Kashi, I surrendered completely to Mahadev. I told him,

“I’m ready. Whatever you wish to give me, I’ll accept. Whatever you need to take away from me, I’ll let go. I won’t question or doubt any of it. Whether it feels good or bad, I’ll receive it as your blessing. Whatever lessons await me, I’m ready.”

People say Kashi is the city of liberation. Looking back now, I truly believe Mahadev called me there to liberate me and to prepare me for what was about to happen.

The entire journey felt nothing less than a miracle🙏

This photograph was taken during the Ganga Aarti at Assi Ghat. Somehow, I was called upon to light the Aarti before they performed the morning aarti.

Just grateful beyond words🙏♥️ and hoping to go back before this year ends🔱 taken in Varanasi - Kashi - Banaras by @lightscamerasafar
