Another 20 pounds heavier. Graves disease can kiss my 🥞 !! On a positive note; My doctor said I look so youthful & beautiful compared to what I’m dealing with inside my body. She couldn’t believe how well I’m handling it all. My numbers have tripled. She hugged me so tight. Told me not to let the enemy win. I told her I’ve got God around me. The strongest soldier. I did end up in the ER but luckily I got released. I don’t think I’ve ever been to the ER before, not for myself anyway. I have to take heart medicine again. YAY! 😑. But we are working on a plan. I believe that God will heal me as he’s done so many times before. I thank God I don’t look like what I’ve been through!! But 🖕🏾Graves disease! I won’t lose this battle either! On this day last year, I sat alone in a hotel room, stripped of my home for over two and a half months by this company’s unlawful actions. In that isolated space, my survival was fueled by nothing but blind faith and caffeine pills. Every waking hour was consumed by the relentless cycle of researching, typing, and retyping.There were moments when defeat pressed heavily against me, but God was by my side, anchoring my spirit. I always knew I possessed strength, but that crucible defined my true core. I refused to shed a tear. I rejected self-pity. Guided by an unbreakable connection to the Divine, I took every brutal blow with absolute grace.Fast forward to this year: I won. I stood completely alone against their team of corporate lawyers, and I prevailed. Filing that document one year ago today wasn’t just a legal step it was the profound moment I transformed suffering into an undeniable victory. To anyone out there standing in the dark, feeling completely depleted and facing a mountain you don’t think you can climb: the greatest thing you can ever do is fight for yourself.
