Vernissage of ORBITAL in Berlin.

BlueLobster Art is very happy to collaborate with Kristin Hjellegjerde Gallery @kristinhjellegjerdegallery on the upcoming group show ORBITAL, and to introduce Janet Vollebregt in Berlin for the first time.

Janet Vollebregt @janetvollebregt is a Dutch artist whose practice sits at the intersection of architecture, philosophy, and sensory experience. Drawing on an architectural background and therapeutic traditions, her works invite viewers to slow down, tune into space, and experience perception in a more embodied way.

ORBITAL takes its title from Samantha Harvey’s novel, reflecting on the exhilaration of seeing the world from a distance, and the quiet tension that such distance can hold.

We look forward to welcoming you for the opening reception!

Art Week 💫

I think this was the most intense one I’ve had so far - but I’m feeling so grateful for everyone I collaborated with on different projects, the people I met along the way, and all the artists I had the pleasure to work with and showcase.

With @bluelobster.art we hosted art walks, tours through some of the main Art Week venues, the Art Market at Soho House, and we also had the chance to contribute to the incredible centenary exhibition of @johannesgeccelli at @wilhelmhallen .

Thank you Anna Finke, Daniela Nicklas and the Johannes Geccelli Estate and everyone involved in this project. Thank you to the BlueLobster Art team, @mirvahel , @timtabellion , @jadecassidy_ , @maddydreiband and the Soho House team & artists who joined us for the market.

And last but not least — thank you @workingtitlestudios (Antonia & Björn) for dressing me throughout these days, keeping me chic and comfortable while running from one event to the next, and @lelabofragrances & @abdelbenakki for my daily scent of confidence that accompanied me everywhere I went. taken in Berlin, Germany by @ligiafalb

An afternoon with artist @janetvollebregt on space, her inspirations, and her practice.

For her, architecture is often too focused on design and not enough on content, so she keeps returning to what we feel in a space—and how it influences our well-being and health. Her work is an invitation to see through things, to be conscious of the invisible but sensible, working with subtle energy to harmonize both the user of space and space itself.

You can see her work at @kristinhjellegjerdegallery opening hours. or dm us for private viewings. 🦞

An intimate olfactive discovery journey ahead of Gallery Weekend, hosted by Bluelobster Art and Le Labo Fragrances in Berlin.

For this special gathering, we curated a selection of artists and creatives from our joint communities. Together, we shared an evening of connection, conversation, and olfactory discovery — guided by the wonderful Le Labo Berlin team.

A heartfelt thank you to all the artists and creatives who joined us, and to the Le Labo team for creating such a thoughtful and sensorial experience. taken in Berlin by @ligiafalb
