I’m officially a Licensed Esthetician 🧖🏽‍♀️🧼🫧

Passed my state board exams today! From the first day of school until today - it’s been a journey the past 8 1/2 months. The days were longggg, i was grindingggg (pharrell voice) 😫 but the months were short. 5-6 years ago i was heavily considering going to massage school, but something about it didn’t feel right so i never pulled the trigger. fast forward to a few years later i started thinking, researching, and playing around with the idea of going to esthetician school with close loved ones. Had so many excuses to keep putting it off, all circling back to fear. I kept hearing from people “the time passes anyway” and it did, and i was busy and felt burnt out at times, but it really was worth the sacrifice. i’m excited to be welcomed into this industry and look forward to making so many feel relaxed, pampered, beautiful and handsome. i am scared but so ready for this next chapter of my life and love that this is a career where i can constantly learn, grow & connect. with all these changes on the horizon i must remind myself to Trust, and i pray i can keep a balance between being esthetician lindsay and writer and creative lindsay and all other aspects of me. This past year has been filled with so many changes, some catastrophically life changing, and many beautiful changes that encapsulate hope for the future.
Could not have done this as quickly and with as much ease as possible without my support system - yall know who you are ty ily 🥹 thank you to everyone that came into my school and trusted me with your skin.
