Lorenzo, Lore, Crodie, Zo, you had a lot of titles but “brother” was my favorite title. Every time I even think about you I begin to break down, every time I begin to write I start crying. I still remember it like it was yesterday when it was the 2nd or 3rd day of middle school and how we became best friends, you were doing the old haircut prank on kids in the classroom and my dumbass leaned over to you and said “I can make this prank better” I cut my own hair with the scissors and gave you the clump of my hair and you went around the room pissing everyone off and after that day, we were inseparable. No more late night FaceTime calls just because we are bored and no more playing ball at the Y waiting for the day for me to dunk on you😭. I still have your shoes that you and Denzel left in my trunk and never picked up from my car. All the vlogs that we have were just pure examples of who you were as a person and I think that is what I will miss most about you. The nights that we would pull all nighters on call of duty and talk the MOST shit to each other about who was better and who could hit a trick shot first in the match but we never could and took it to the private match and hit trick shots on each other. The nights at upward bound when I would be home sick and you would uplift my spirits and make me feel like we were home again just by the way you acted, brought me joy and distracted me. You were always there for me at my lowest of low, right from the jump. Your name will never die out in my heart, there is an old quote that has been helping me get by and that is “no matter where you are, whether it’s a quarter of a mile away, or half way across the world, you will always be with me and you will always be my brother.” Everything in life was just looking up as well, you got a new job, you were in a happy relationship and your smile was as big as I have ever seen it. This is not a goodbye my brother, I know that you are watching us and how we are reacting to this but I promise you everything that we do is for you.
