fans don’t really get to play with the band but tonight’s your lucky night cause here i am!

on october 8th, 2025 i got to join my favorite band on stage and rock out on the harmonica to one of my favorite’s of theirs, Hi There, Hello! i truly cannot thank ed and the 502s enough for this experience. they let me live out my rockstar dreams for a night and it will forever remain a core memory.

ever since morgan introduced me to the 502s back in 2023 i knew there was something special about them. from the first show i was hooked and knew there was no going back. since that show i’ve been so fortunate to meet so many amazing people, commit various bits and jests, and share the joy of the band with family and friends.

i hold a deep gratitude for this band in my heart. ed, graci, nick, sean, joe, and kennoniah, thank you thank you thank you.

(and so many thank yous to alyssa who was in support of this bit from the beginning!)

i’ve spent the last five days driving hundreds of miles, waiting for hours on end, making friendship bracelets, telling stories, and sharing in the joy of the 502s, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. what a privilege to be able to live this life. I love the 502s and I never want this to end 🫶🫶

grateful times twenty :)

may of 2023 morgan asked if I knew this band called the 502s. I did not, but who am I to turn down a concert. I didn’t know it then, but that first show would be the foundation of something so much more than just a band I saw in charlotte one summer.

after show one I knew they were something special. in fact i even got miss @graciphillips to draw me a tattoo. the first of a few :). their shows have this ability to turn my worst days into core memories, and instantly melt away whatever’s bringing me down. since then I have always said I’m never happier than at a 502s show, and that continues to reign true.

to @the502s you all are so near and dear to me. thank you for creating a space where friends and family come together, smiles are shared, and community is created. where i can jokingly ask to play harmonica on stage and you (and @photosbyalyssarasp ) make it happen. where bits are committed to thrown back at me mid show🪳. where i can ask @yourbestpaleddie for a ridiculous photo and there be no hesitation to make it happen. i hope you all know the gratitude and love I have for each of you.
