This project is a decade old. When I wrote it I was coming off what was then the most mentally challenging periods in my life as a young man.

A trip to NY and my first real experience with fall lead to a realization that still sticks with me to this day: seasons change. I realized that was the cure to anxiety, to worry, to fear.

To trust that everything changes even the dark times. Since then there have been more dark days, more battles and more uncertainty. In those moments I hold on to the lessons from fall, that only one thing is forever, and it’s not this life we live here on earth.

I’m proud of the version of me that had the heart to write and record this project that still does what I hoped it would: Remind me that everything that seems bad isn’t.

I’m grateful for the hardships that led to this project, it was made with real blood sweat and tears. And the people that made it a thing , I haven’t forgotten, thank you. 🌹
