My Mother was a beautician, and the only person I would allow to cut my hair—hats off to all the miracle workers out there who give us full frontal beauty inside and out. Today is National Beauticians Day, and I want to celebrate all those who make us look our best, even when we feel our worst, by looking good, feeling good and DOING GOOD.

Here’s a throwback clip that I never posted when I was @dirtysugar with the uber talented and delightful @likeonekia who took my face and gave it a place to shine! My SWEETIE comedy special cover. #nationalbeauticiansday #beauty #shine #tbt #throwbackthursday #thursday #bts and a “special” shoutout to my pal @simiantukel for this fun clip! taken in dirty sugar photography by @likeonekia

3 days is a long time to celebrate your birthday. Damn being born during hurricane season... Thank you to everyone who facilitated, footed, forced, accompanied hugged, reveled, raised a glass or were there in spirit. I'm tired but my heart is full. Swipe for a full vanity post and me with my tongue out a lot. And sorry-not-sorry, I got a bunch more for my stories too. ;) by @likeonekia
